  Beschreibung

  We are a family of four living in Puigpunyent with our two boys, aged 7 and 4½, along with our dog and cat. We both work for ourselves from home and lead a busy but relaxed family life.
  
  We live in a 5-bedroom house with a pool and garden, and are looking for some extra help around the house and with general family life from time to time, on a shorter-term basis. We’re looking for someone who can fit in easily with our routine and support where needed.

  We offer a mix of cultures in our home – I’m Swedish and my husband is from New Zealand, and between us we’ve lived and travelled in many different parts of the world. We enjoy sharing our experiences, perspectives, and way of life with others, and are always happy to learn about different cultures in return.
  
  At the same time, we live in a traditional Mallorcan village, so there’s a great opportunity to experience the local lifestyle here in Puigpunyent. From village life and local markets to being surrounded by nature and the mountains, it’s a relaxed and authentic setting that gives a real feel for Mallorca beyond the tourist areas.

  Arbeit

  We’re looking for help mainly with the day-to-day running of family life. This includes some time with the boys – helping with school pick-ups, activities, or keeping them entertained while we work from home. They are active and enjoy being outdoors, so someone who is happy to engage and be part of their routine is important.
  
  We would also appreciate help with basic household chores such as tidying, laundry, keeping the kitchen in order, and generally helping things run smoothly. There may be some driving involved, as well as occasional help with our dog and cat.
  
  We’re usually around and doing things together, so it’s very much a shared, informal setup rather than working separately. We’re looking for someone who can fit naturally into our home, is flexible, and enjoys being part of a family environment for shorter stays here and there.

  Unterkunft

  You will have your own private bedroom in the house, with a shared bathroom. The house is spacious, with plenty of areas both inside and outside where you can relax and have your own time.
  
  We have a garden and pool, as well as different spots around the house to sit, unwind, and enjoy some peace and quiet when you need it.
  
  There will always be food available to eat from in the fridge, most dinners would be together, taking turns or helping each other prepare the meal. Breakfast would be help yourself and lunch would be a mix depending on how the day is looking.

  In your free time, there’s plenty to explore locally. Puigpunyent is surrounded by beautiful nature and mountains, with great opportunities for walking, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors. There are also shops, restaurants and bars in the village as well as tennis and paddle courts. Palma is about a 20–25 minute drive away, where you’ll find beaches, shops, restaurants, and more of a city atmosphere. There are also other villages nearby to explore, and we’re happy to give tips and recommendations.
  
  Public transport is available from the village, though having a driving licence is helpful as some tasks may involve driving and it also gives you more flexibility to get around.
  
  At home, we live a fairly relaxed and informal lifestyle. We’re tidy and respectful of shared spaces, so we appreciate someone who is the same. Communication is important to us, and we like to keep things easy and flexible, with mutual respect for each other’s time and space.
