  We are a young and heart centred italo -German family living in Portugal! Before Settling here we traveled and volunteered in different eco-Backpackers, Retreat Centers and guest-houses between Europe and Africa. We are very open minded, enjoy getting to know new cultures and Lifestyles and are happy to share what we know about Italian cooking, self development, event organising, conscious parenting etc. ! We Hope to learn more of other cultures and if we can match with a Portuguese speaking volunteer would be amazing to practice a bit our portuguese

  Arbeit

  We are looking for someone to help care for our 4-year-old son, Noel, for 4–5 hours a day, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, while we are working.
  
  We would love to welcome a person who is both organised and structured, yet also relaxed, spontaneous, and playful. Ideally, you would enjoy creating a gentle rhythm for the week, filled with creative activities, games, free play, and little adventures—things that Noel absolutely loves.
  Noel is a curious and active child who enjoys being involved in everyday life. Thanks to his Montessori-inspired kindergarten experience, he loves participating in daily tasks and routines such as cooking, gardening, grocery shopping, and helping around the house. It would be wonderful if you enjoyed including him in these simple activities, whether that means baking together, tending the garden, running errands, or exploring the local area.
  
  We are very lucky to live just a six-minute drive from three of the most beautiful beaches in the Southwest Algarve. In exchange for a relaxed coastal summer lifestyle in this little paradise, we are looking for a like-minded, caring, energetic, and creative person who would love to help make this summer a memorable and joyful experience for Noel.
  
  As both of us work during the mornings, we are unable to give him the full attention and care we would ideally like to provide during that time. Since grandparents are not nearby and kindergarten is closed for the summer, we are looking for someone who would enjoy becoming part of our family life throughout July and August, until school starts again in September.

  Unterkunft

  We live in a beautiful 3-bedroom House with big Garden, just 5 minutes drive from the beach !
  We can offer a room with use of one of the two bathrooms in our House.
  
  Regarding the meals we will share most of the meals, for us is one of the favourites moment when we all sit at the table and is the best moment to connect, having conversations etc. if for any reason the volunteer cannot join , our fridge/pantry is always available for the volunteers

Summer here is vibrant and lively, yet the region has maintained its authentic character and remains far from being an overly commercial tourist destination.   The region is well known for its retreats, workshops, and wellness-oriented lifestyle throughout the year. Life here revolves around wellbeing, healthy living, personal growth, spirituality, sports, surfing, and a deep connection with nature. Over the years, many young families and like-minded people from all over the world have chosen to settle in this hidden gem of the Algarve.
  With its dramatic cliffs, endless Atlantic Ocean views, and wild natural beauty, this is a truly magical place to spend a summer.
