  🌿 Welcome to Our Rural Home in Corfu, Greece
  
  Hi, my name is Nikoleta, and I would love to welcome volunteers to our rural home on the beautiful island of Corfu, Greece.
  
  Our home is located in **Agios Thanasis, Molos**, about 40 minutes from Lefkimmi. It is surrounded by nature, with a large garden and land, a beautiful forest behind the house, and the sea just a few steps away. 🌊🌿
  
  It is a peaceful place where you can enjoy nature, the sea and a slower pace of life while helping us take care of the house, garden and property.
  
  👨‍🌾 Who will you be working with?
  
  The main person you will be working with is **my father, who lives at the property and takes care of the daily work and maintenance of the house, garden, land and surrounding areas.**
  
  He will explain the tasks, show you what needs to be done and guide you during your working hours.
  
  **I do not live at the property.** I am there sometimes and I also work together with my father when I am there, but I am not permanently at the house.
  
  For this reason, volunteers should feel comfortable working mainly with my father and following his guidance regarding the daily tasks.
  
  ## 🛠️ What kind of help do we need?
  
  The work here is varied and depends on what needs to be done at the property at each particular time.
  
  Depending on the season and the needs of the house and land, tasks may include:
  
  * 🌿 Gardening and land maintenance
  * 🍅 Helping with the garden and seasonal vegetables
  * 🔨 Small construction projects and repairs
  * 🎨 Painting and general handyman work
  * 🧹 Cleaning the house and household tasks
  * 🏡 Cleaning and maintaining outdoor areas and storage spaces
  * 🔧 Other practical work around the property
  
  Some days there may be more outdoor work, such as gardening, land maintenance or construction. On other days, there may be more work inside the house, including cleaning and household tasks.
  
  Cleaning and helping with the house are a normal part of our Workaway exchange, just like gardening, land maintenance, construction, painting and other practical work.
  
  The type of work can therefore change from day to day, depending on what is actually needed at that moment. We are looking for volunteers who are flexible and happy to help with different types of work, rather than choosing only the tasks they personally prefer.
  
  Whenever possible, we try to share and rotate different types of work so that everyone can experience a variety of activities.
  
  
  If you have particular interests or preferences regarding the type of work, you are very welcome to discuss them with us before your arrival, so that we can make sure the exchange is a good match for everyone.

  Corfu is one of Greece's most beautiful islands, known for its wonderful beaches, green landscapes, traditional villages and rich history.
  
  The famous Old Town of Corfu, with its Venetian architecture, is one of the island's highlights. There are also many beautiful places to explore, such as Paleokastritsa, Sidari, Kassiopi and Acharavi.
  
  If you love nature, the sea, outdoor life and peaceful surroundings, and you don't mind getting your hands dirty, you may really enjoy staying with us. 🌿🌊

  Hola, mi nombre es Nikoleta y me gustaría dar la bienvenida a voluntarios a nuestra casa rural en la hermosa isla de Corfú, Grecia.
  
  Nuestra casa está situada en **Agios Thanasis, Molos**, a unos 40 minutos de Lefkimmi. Está rodeada de naturaleza, con un amplio jardín y terreno, un hermoso bosque detrás de la casa y el mar a pocos pasos. 🌊🌿
  
  Es un lugar tranquilo donde podrás disfrutar de la naturaleza, el mar y un ritmo de vida más relajado mientras nos ayudas a cuidar la casa, el jardín y la propiedad.
  
  👨‍🌾 ¿Con quién trabajarás?
  
  La persona principal con la que trabajarás será **mi padre, que vive en la propiedad y se encarga del trabajo diario y del mantenimiento de la casa, el jardín, el terreno y los alrededores.**
  
  Él te explicará las tareas, te mostrará lo que hay que hacer y te orientará durante las horas de trabajo.
  
  Yo no vivo en la propiedad.Estoy allí algunas veces y también trabajo junto a mi padre cuando estoy allí, pero no vivo permanentemente en la casa.
  
  Por eso, es importante que los voluntarios se sientan cómodos trabajando principalmente con mi padre y siguiendo sus indicaciones sobre las tareas diarias.
  
  🛠️ ¿Qué tipo de ayuda necesitamos?
  
  El trabajo es variado y depende de lo que necesite la propiedad en cada momento.
  
  Según la época del año y las necesidades de la casa y del terreno, las tareas pueden incluir:
  
  * 🌿 Jardinería y mantenimiento del terreno
  * 🍅 Ayuda con el jardín y las verduras de temporada
  * 🔨 Pequeños trabajos de construcción y reparaciones
  * 🎨 Pintura y trabajos generales de mantenimiento
  * 🧹 Limpieza de la casa y tareas domésticas
  * 🏡 Limpieza y mantenimiento de las zonas exteriores y espacios de almacenamiento
  * 🔧 Otros trabajos prácticos alrededor de la propiedad
  
  Algunos días puede haber más trabajo al aire libre, como jardinería, mantenimiento del terreno o construcción. Otros días puede ser necesario trabajar dentro de la casa, incluyendo limpieza y tareas domésticas.
  
  **La limpieza y la ayuda con la casa forman parte normal de nuestro intercambio de Workaway**, al igual que la jardinería, el mantenimiento del terreno, la construcción, la pintura y otros trabajos prácticos.
  
  Por lo tanto, el tipo de trabajo puede cambiar de un día a otro según las necesidades reales del momento. Buscamos voluntarios flexibles y dispuestos a ayudar con diferentes tipos de tareas, en lugar de elegir únicamente las actividades que prefieren.

  Si tienes algún interés o preferencia especial sobre el tipo de trabajo, estaremos encantados de hablarlo contigo **antes de tu llegada**, para asegurarnos de que el intercambio sea una buena experiencia para todos.

  Corfú es una de las islas más bonitas de Grecia, conocida por sus maravillosas playas, sus paisajes verdes, sus pueblos tradicionales y su rica historia.
  
  La famosa Ciudad Vieja de Corfú, con su arquitectura de influencia veneciana, es uno de los lugares más destacados de la isla. También hay muchos lugares hermosos para visitar, como Paleokastritsa, Sidari, Kassiopi y Acharavi.
  
  Si te gusta la naturaleza, el mar, la vida al aire libre y los ambientes tranquilos, y no te importa ensuciarte las manos, es posible que disfrutes mucho de tu estancia con nosotros. 🌿🌊

  Arbeit

  We are in a rural area eith very vegetation and forest, so, now, the house needs a maintenance and cleaning in the garden. The help would focus on weeding the ground, removing the weeds and leaving it suitable for replanting the garden.paint and hand works that are flexible for the work
  The day consists of 5 hours a day for 5 days a week. Volunteers are given 2 days off so that they can enjoy the place, the coast and its surroundings.
  We receive up to 4 volunteers for a maximum of two weeks. The possibility of staying longer after living for a while is always open.
  
  Nos encontramos en una zona rural de harta vegetación y bosque, por lo que ahora la casa necesita de una manutención y limpieza en el jardín. La ayuda se centraría en desmalezar el terreno, quitar las hierbas malas y dejarlo apto para remoledar el jardín,n construction ,pintar,etc.y que sean flexibles con las labores
  La jornada consiste en 5 horas al día (9:00pm-14:00pm)durante 5 días a la semana. Se les da 2 días libres a los voluntarios para que puedan disfrutar del lugar, la costa y sus alrededores.
  Recibimos hasta 4 voluntarios por un máximo de dos semanas. Siempre queda abierta la posibilidad de quedarte más después de convivir un tiempo.

  You are welcome to enjoy the tranquility of our place and take advantage of working outdoors. Since it is a tourist area, we do not have problems with volunteers who want to carry out activities in parallel to generate economic resources, as long as they continue to comply with the tasks and schedules that we agreed upon.
  We are 20 minutes walking from a busy route where you can take public transport or make a stop to move to the nearest towns, such as Lefkimi which is 40 minutes away.
  
  Son bienvenidos a disfrutar de la tranquilidad de nuestro lugar y aprovechar de trabajar al aire libre. Ya que se trata de una zona bien turística, no tenemos problemas con los voluntarios que quieran realizar actividades en paralelo para generar recursos economicos, siempre y cuando sigan cumpliendo con las labores y horarios que acordamos.
  Estamos a 20 minutos caminando de una ruta transitada donde puedes tomar transporte público o hacer auto-stop para moverte a los pueblos más cercanos, como Lefkimi que se encuentra a 40 minutos.
