  We have already found help for our countryside home in May, but we are now looking for a different kind of support.
  
  
  Hi, my name is Jennifer.
  
  Together with my partner Henrik and our two children, we are a family of four living between Oslo and our countryside farm about one and a half hours away. We bought our farm in 2019 and it has become a very special place for us. We spend most of our spring, summer, and autumn there, working on projects, enjoying nature, and building our long-term dream.
  
  During May we have already arranged help for the farm, but now we are looking for someone to help us for a few weeks in Oslo.
  
  In our daily life, we live and work in Oslo. We enjoy family time, city life, good food, and simple everyday moments. At the same time, nature is very important to us, which is why we spend so much time at the farm whenever we can.
  
  We also have a cat who is a very important part of our family. She has been with us for many years and means a lot to us.
  
  We value calm energy, responsibility, honesty, and mutual respect. We appreciate people who are independent, kind, and comfortable in a peaceful family environment.

  Oslo stay !!!
  Although this stay is mainly house and pet sitting while we are away, it still offers a cultural experience in its own way.
  
  You will experience everyday life in Oslo from a local perspective, living in a residential area rather than as a tourist. You will have the opportunity to explore the city, nature areas, public transport system, cafés, and cultural life independently.
  
  Our home reflects a mix of city life and Scandinavian values of simplicity, calm, and respect for nature. If you appreciate quiet living, responsibility, and trust-based exchange, this could be a meaningful experience.
  
  Before the stay, we will of course connect, talk, and get to know each other. We are open people who value honest communication and mutual respect

  I am Swedish and half Tswana (Botswana), and my partner is Norwegian, so we have different cultures and languages in our home.
  
  We live surrounded by Swedish nature and farmland, and we are happy to share local life, outdoor activities, and everyday family routines. You can practice Swedish or Norwegian with us, and we would also love to learn about your culture, language and food traditions.
  
  For us, this is about sharing experiences, learning from each other, and creating a meaningful exchange.

  Arbeit

  From approximately March 22–24 until April 18–19 (around three weeks, exact dates can be slightly flexible), we are looking for someone calm, responsible, and experienced with cats to stay in our apartment in Oslo and take care of our elderly cat while we are away.
  
  This is primarily a cat-sitting and apartment-sitting opportunity.
  
  Our cat is calm and independent, but she needs daily care and human presence. She is diabetic and requires medication twice a day. Because of this, it is very important that you are responsible, structured, and comfortable giving medication. She enjoys quiet company, gentle play, and stimulation, but also appreciates her own space.
  
  The apartment is located in a peaceful family area in Oslo. It is very close to public transportation (T-bane and bus), with easy access to the city center and all that Oslo has to offer. At the same time, the area is close to green spaces and nature, offering a calm and pleasant atmosphere.
  
  This opportunity could be perfect if you:

  You will be staying in our apartment in Oslo for the entire period while we are away.
  
  The apartment is located in a calm and pleasant family area with easy access to public transportation (both metro and bus). It is simple and convenient to reach the city center, while still being close to green areas and nature.
  
  During your stay, you will have the whole apartment to yourself, together with our cat. The main responsibility is to take care of the home and give it care and respect, and most importantly to give our cat daily attention, love, and proper care.
  
  We are looking for someone who will treat our home as their own, with responsibility, calm energy, and kindness

  During your free time, you will have easy access to everything Oslo has to offer.
  
  The apartment is located in a calm residential area with very good public transportation connections (metro and bus). It is quick and easy to reach the city center, museums, cafés, restaurants, shopping areas, and cultural attractions.
  
  Oslo is also known for its access to nature. You can explore nearby forests, walking trails, parks, and the Oslo fjord. Depending on the season, you can enjoy hiking, swimming, saunas, skiing, or simply spending time outdoors.
  
  The area is quiet and safe, making it ideal if you:

  • Want a peaceful base while exploring the city

  Farm stay **
  alot of hiking for nature lovers, kayaking and exploring varmland and cities not to far away from us. We have Norways capital city 1.5h drive Oslo. We have Stockholm that's 4.5h drive and Gothenburg 3.5h drive, and all the cities in between.
