  Beschreibung

  We are Radka (local), Davide (from Castel S. Pietro Terme near Bologna, Italy), our two-years-old daughter Magda and our newborn Laura. We're a young Czech-Italian family looking for an Italian-speaking companion. We'd love to teach our daughters her father's native language, Italian. Therefore the description will be in Italian.
  
  The main task is to interact with our daughters in Italian, so that they become bilingual. Any additional help in and around the house is welcome.
  
  We live in Moravia, a region of the Czech Republic, specifically in Nemile, a village adjacent to Zábřeh. The municipality is easily accessible by fast inter-regional trains. The area offers many cultural and sporting activities. The nearby Jeseníky Mountains offer many summer and winter activities.

  Il compito principale é di interagire con le nostre figlie in italiano, in modo che diventino bilingue. Qualsiasi altro aiuto dentro e intorno a casa sará il benvenuto.
  
  Viviamo in Moravia, una regione della Repubblica Ceca, di preciso a Nemile, una frazione attaccata a Zábřeh. Il Comune é facilmente raggiungibile con treni interregionali veloci. Il posto offre molte attivitá culturali e sportive. Nelle vicine montagne Jeseníky si trovano molte attivitá estive e invernali.

  Nearby villages often host social and cultural events: food street markets, English-language movies at the cinema, town festivals, concerts, and outdoor activity competitions. Inexpensive swimming pools and saunas are popular. We also love playing laser game.
  
  Zabřeh na Moravě train station is 10 minutes from home, and from there you have the freedom to travel to nature reserves or other cities and capitals (half an hour to Olomouc, for instance, and 2 hours to Prague and Brno).
  
  Winter here is relatively cold, with January being the coldest month, when the nearby pond freezes over and becomes an ice rink. The ski slopes are 50 minutes away by train or car. There are lovely xmas markets in December.
  
  During the shoulder seasons and in summer, you can enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities. Davide enjoys mountain biking and orienteering. You can go rollerblading, hiking, canoeing, mushroom picking or fishing – there are lots of opportunities in the area.
  
  Davide plays the guitar. If you play an instrument or sing, let us know, we could have jam sessions together!

  The most important help is spending time with our daughters, about two hours a day, so they get used to Italian and learn to speak it. There's no need to worry; we don't leave the workawayer home alone with the girls; there will always be someone there. We don't have any preferences regarding nationality, age, gender, or religion... but motivation to be with the little ones is required.
  
  You don't need to be particularly expert; you simply need to spend time with the girls speaking Italian, playing, introducing new words, and reading Italian books. Magda already speaks a lot for her age; she likes music, animals, Duplo Lego, and loves books... in short, you never get bored with her.
  
  There are many other household chores to do, and we count on your help with some of these, of your choosing: washing dishes, doing and hanging out laundry, mopping floors, cooking, pruning and caring for plants in the house and garden, working in the vegetable garden, chopping wood, cleaning, construction work, and more.

  L´aiuto piú importante é quello di passare tempo con le nostre figlie, circa 2 ore al giorno, in modo che si abituino all´italiano e che imparino a parlarlo. Non c´é da temere, non lasciamo il workawayer a casa da solo con le bimbe, ci sará sempre qualcuno a casa. Non abbiamo preferenze di nazionalitá, etá, sesso, religione... é peró richiesta la motivazione di stare con le piccole.
  
  Non serve essere particolarmente esperti, bisogna semplicemente passare del tempo con le bimbe parlando italiano, giocando, proponendo nuove parole, leggendo i libri italiani... Magda parla giá molto per la sua etá, le piace la musica, gli animali, i lego duplo, adora i libri... insomma non ci si annoia facilmente con lei.
  
  Ci sono molti altre faccende domestiche da fare, contiamo sul tuo aiuto per alcune di queste a tua scelta: lavare i piatti, fare e stendere il bucato, pulire i pavimenti, cucinare, potare e prendersi cura delle piante in casa e in giardino, lavorare nell´orto, fare legna, pulire, lavori di edilizia...

  Unterkunft

  You'll have your own bedroom and share the rest of the second floor of the house with us. Radka's family is close-knit and welcoming. You'll probably get to know some of her relatives, as we live on the second floor of her parents' family home. They're friendly and they enjoy sharing well-known Czech beers and spirits, as well as stories and experiences.
  
  We will provide food. Davide is celiac (gluten-free). Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.
  
  We can lend you a bike to move around.

  Was noch ...

  We met in Malta in the summer of 2017 thanks to Workaway! We contacted the same host family and worked as part of the same team. Who would have thought that it would end up like this? Since then, we have travelled a lot using Workaway. Now, we would like to join the community as hosts.
