… read more compassion, regardless of what they can(not) do. i was definitely not the strongest person or smartest builder around, but that doesnt matter at mak. you give what you can and will (probably) receive a maktastic atmosphere, extremely delicious food, cool people, beautiful nature to spend time in and a cuddly cat :)

… read more this community has left on my life. I have never felt so much love around. The factory itself is super cool and it is obvious the amount of hard work and love has been put into this place over the years and you can find special pieces of artwork all around. I also learned so much about living a more sustainable life and through my time here I felt such an increased connection with nature and the world around me. There is so much you can do and contribute here and each morning you can choose from the tasks available (or propose your own). I met friends here I hold very dear to my heart and shall miss our yoga sessions, trips to the lake and cosy campfire evenings together. Agustin is a very warm and loving person! He always helps people and has a positive mindset. In the community he had many great ideas and projects. He has taken part of many tasks such as cooking, cleaning, organizing, cutting grass, building and much more. He is always willing to give a hand if needed and always tries to help finding solutions.

Finally I stayed in Mak for a month and a half and without a doubt it was for me one of the most beautiful experiences I had, besides the fact that the place is incredible, I met people that I will always carry deeply in my heart.

… read more truly magical place, safe and I felt at home from the first moment. I would not change anything about what was my experience in the factory, I learned a lot and helped in the factory projects. The place has a lot of potential and it will continue to need people who want to work, collaborate in community and learn from others. But the most important detail is that whatever they did, they did it with a huge smile and a lot of predisposition. They have been gone for two days and everyone here misses them already!
