We are Kunuk (39), originally from Greenland, and have been living in Denmark for 18 years, and Aurelia (43), from Switzerland and Germany, who has been embracing the hyggeligt Danish life for the past four years.

And, of course, our family wouldn’t be complete without our two beloved furry companions – Nooqi, our playful White Swiss Shepherd, and Moka, our loyal Black German Shepherd. They bring so much joy to our lives and will surely love having you around! 🐾❤️

Staying with us offers you the chance to experience a unique cultural mix. Our roots are Greenlandic Inuit and German-Swiss, and we love sharing our traditions, stories, and way of life.
Beyond our regular jobs, we are also shamanic practitioners. If you're interested, you are welcome to join a cacao ceremony and learn more about shamanism and spirituality. We enjoy exchanging knowledge and experiences in these areas and are happy to share what we have learned on our journey.
That being said, we are currently very busy with work and a big project, so our time is limited. However, whenever possible, we will gladly take time to connect, exchange, and learn from each other. We believe that cultural exchange is a two-way process, and we are always curious to hear about different perspectives, experiences, and traditions from our guests.
We are conscious, open-minded, and spiritual people who have found our own way of living. It’s important for us to welcome like-minded, open-hearted individuals who are curious and respectful of different cultures and perspectives.
If you are looking for a place where we can learn from each other, connect, and experience something new, we would love to share this journey with you!

We are currently looking for a reliable and practical person to support us with various tasks around our countryside home in Denmark.

🛠️ Your main tasks will include:
Gardening (weeding, general maintenance, seasonal work)

Painting the outside of the house (weather permitting)

Occasional help around the house (light cleaning or assistance if needed)

House and Dog Sitting from May 30th to June 1st
During that weekend, you’ll stay at our home and take care of the dogs – walking them, feeding them, and simply making sure the house feels loved and safe while we’re away.
Since this counts as part of your working time, you’ll get two days off during the following week to balance it out.

You’ll have a cozy private room where you can relax and feel at home.
The kitchen is shared with us, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
You’ll have your own bathroom and toilet – and if other Workawayers are staying at the same time, you may share it with them.

When it comes to food, we follow a natural and wholesome diet, avoiding sugar and additives.
Our meals are vegetarian, and we usually eat low-carb or keto-style.

We practice intermittent fasting, which means our daily rhythm may be a bit different.
You’re welcome to prepare your own breakfast and lunch at any time – whether you prefer a smoothie like us, some oatmeal, or simply bread.
Dinner is usually cooked by Aurelia, and we always enjoy this meal together in the late afternoon.

If you have different preferences – no problem at all!
We’re happy to adjust and can easily add pasta, rice or other sides to the delicious meals we prepare.

The beach is within easy reach—just a 40-minute e-bike ride through beautiful landscapes or a quick 20-minute drive by car.
If you're in the mood for a change of pace and want to experience the energy of a bigger city, we can take you to the bus station. From there, it's only a 20-minute ride to Odense, the largest city on Funen, where you can explore its vibrant culture, shops, and historic sites.
To make getting around even easier, we also have electric bicycles available for you to use—perfect for discovering the surroundings at your own pace! 🚴‍♂️🌿
