Hi!
Our names are Glen and Ingrid, and we are a married couple in our 50s.
We live on a small farm in the countryside in Kirkenær, in Norway. We have a cat and a small dog, and a big house and big garden which both need some work and maintenance.
We urgently need help with garden work and more since Glen has become ill - so would love if someone could come and stay with us during May!
We love to travel, and when we do, we would love to have someone we could trust to take care of the house, garden, and pets while we’re away. We are also looking for someone who can help with cooking, cleaning, gardening, building projects, etc.
Kirkenær (and our farm) is perfect for people who enjoy nature and the peace and quiet in the countryside. There are amazing opportunities for hiking and swimming, and we have bicycles , a car, and a canoe that you can use in your spare time.

We would love to tell you about our travels, the places we’ve been and the people we’ve met along the way. Ingrid is an amazing travel planner, and would happily help you plan your travels, both in Norway and in other countries.
Ingrid can also teach you various crafts like knitting or crochet, and Glen will happily teach you about building, car and motorcycle maintenance, etc.

We prefer if you have a driver’s license so you’re able to drive to/from the store on your own while housesitting.

Unterkunft
We have guest bedrooms with a private bathroom in the basement. Kitchen and living space will be shared with us.
When we are home, we will provide 3 shared meals per day. When we are away you will be responsible for your own cooking, but we will fill the pantry, fridge, and freezer with food before we leave.

There are great hiking opportunities in our area, as well as places to go swimming, fishing, canoeing, or camping. There are also buses that will take you to Kongsvinger or Elverum, where you can find buses/trains to take you almost anywhere you want to go.
