  My family and I live in a small hamlet of houses outside Testa dell'Acqua a village in the Hyblaean Mountains above the Baroque city of Noto, close to Palazzolo Acreide. We are about 20 minutes drive to the sea and face due south. My 2 parents (Judith & Jonathan) live here, and myself (their son Bertold) in one of the houses next door. There is a beautiful garden, paper conservation studio and some lovely outdoor spaces. We have 2 goats, 4 dogs, 2 chickens, 3 ducks, a toad and many cats.
  
  
  Unfortunately we do not accept:
  - Workaways who have their own pets
  - Couples without a shared profile

  Bertold also runs a cultural association (Meraki Testa dell’Acqua) for members in various indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the year.

  Arbeit

  We are looking for responsible individuals or couples to come and look after our animals, house, and garden.
  
  There is plenty of indoor and outdoor space, and an active cultural association next door. My mother and father live in the house which has 3 double bedrooms & 2 shared bathrooms.
  
  In terms of help, I would be grateful for our Workaway guest to undertake the following
  - Light cleaning to keep the house clean and tidy
  - Help look after and feed the dogs
  - Feed the chickens, ducks & 2 x goats (Mango & PawPaw).
  - Light gardening (strimming, weeding, watering, pruning, feeding of plants etc)
  - Daily dog walk, (& sometimes followed by the goats & Baggy the black cat!).
  
  Other than these daily tasks there may be some other projects that you may like to get involved in.

  The house you would be staying in has 3 double bedrooms, a kitchen, living room and 2 shared bathrooms.

  Was noch ...

  Ideally you would bring your own car, however we have an old Fiat Panda that can be driven on a case by case basis for local trips (over 25's only I'm afraid due to the type of insurance). The village of Testa dell'acqua has 2 small local supermarkets, cafe, bar, butcher, baker, post office, pizzeria, doctor's surgery and carabinieri.
