  Beschreibung

  Help us renovate our house in a charming village nestled between Carcasonne and Narbonne in the South of France. The household consists of myself (South African), my partner (British) and my mother (South African) and our two cats Eddy and Harry. There is a lot to explore around here in the minervois region.
  
  The whole house needs renovating inside but we plan to do this in stages as we run a restaurant in the village which keeps us very busy. The first project we would like help with is for someone with Carpentry skills and plastering skills welcomed who can help us wood panel the walls and ceilings in one of the bedrooms.

  We run a restaurant in the village and so love yo meet people from different cultures and walks of life. Currently we spend Sundays at the beach about 40 minutes from the house, swimming in the Mediterranean Sea which is Devine.

  Arbeit

  Carpentry skills and plastering skills are welcome to wood panel the wall and ceiling in one of the bedrooms as a trial before we decide to move onto other areas of the house to wood panel. We’re looking for someone to help us for a week or so.

  Unterkunft

  We can offer a large double bedroom with a shared bathroom. The house is large with a large garden. We are very happy to provide three meals a day for the duration of the stay.

  Was noch ...

  It’s possible to take a bus to Lezignan Corbiers from where you can take a train to nearby Carcassonne, Narbonne or Beziers to explore. Our village has a supermarket excellent weekly market etc.
  
  As we work long hours Tuesday - Saturday, we need the house to be quiet in the afternoon for an hour when we rest and generally past 11pm. We’re easy going but would like someone who is clean, neat and tidy and generally respectful and considerate of others.
