  Hi! I'm Alex, 44 y.o female. I am owned by 20 dogs and 1 geriatric cat. Dogs are indoor/outdoor pets.
  
  I have been racing sled dogs for the past 15 years. From mid-distance, to stage to now sprint racing. Dogs are a central part of my life and my emotional and financial focus has been on them for as long.
  
  I work as a Fear Free veterinary technician 3 days a week, as well as a professional dog trainer the rest of the time.

  Arbeit

  I have a few projects that need finishing this season. They all require handy help, including being a skilled wood helper! I do not have a work shop but tools should all be available. Banking on those beautiful Yukon summer days to get it all done!
  
  1. Dog van conversion: I need help finishing this project! I have the floor in, part of the insulation, I need someone to cut and install the wood paneling. More info available upon request.
  
  2. My existing insulated dog houses need some TLC. Some need new roofs.
  
  3. Another project is to patch the "holes" in the property fence. 9 acres are fenced with large animal farm fences, and some of the posts have been pushed off the ground (frost heaves) and there is now some large gaps between the ground and the bottom of the fence. I have lawn fence that can be used to patch those holes. The work has been started, but there is more to do.
  
  4. Painting a wooden shed door and some dog houses.
  
  5. If you enjoy cooking, please take over my kitchen!

  Unterkunft

  My log home is located 35 minutes from Whitehorse and sits on 9 fully fenced acres. It is shared with a 30 y.o female professional (working and otherwise socially busy), a cat and a few dogs. We have running water (well water), wood heat, forced air furnace, and power so we are pretty comfortably set up. The house is small with only 2 bedrooms, 1 shared bathroom (shower, toilet, laundry), and kitchen with a larger living area. I have an insulated converted enclosed trailer with propane and oil heat that you are welcome to use as a bedroom and to have your private space.
  
  Please keep in mind, this is country living, no shopping available within walking distance!
