I live in an old house in the wine country close to Barcelona in a beautiful, peaceful setting surrounded by vineyards. The beach is a 30 minute drive away.

I am American but have lived in Catalonia for over 30 years. This area is great for learning more about wine!
Being an old house, there are always little fix up projects to do, and the garden needs tending. I would like somebody who would combine helping me with home projects when I'm around, and house sitting while I am traveling for work. I would prefer a couple because a single person might get lonely (I travel quite a bit). A driver's license is very helpful, since public transportation in this area is a bit limited.
I have started studying German off and on, and although not my priority it would be a plus to have somebody to practice on!

Own room with a comfortable double bed, desk, and closet. Shared bathroom. Wifi.
The closest sizeable town is a 15 minute drive away, from which it is an hour to Barcelona by train.
Barcelona, the coast, biking or walking around the countryside...plenty to do and enjoy around here! Probably not for folks who don't like peace and quiet, though.
