  Hi! I'm Lupe, and after several experiences as a Workaway Doctor, today I'm switching roles and becoming a host. This time, I'm working with a wonderful group and alongside the person who hosted me a couple of years ago.
  Today, we're offering you the chance to live and work at the school with a group of motivated and energetic volunteers in a beautiful old building in the heart of Puerto Varas.
  
  Our project involves using the summer months to renovate and improve the school's common areas, creating a warmer and safer environment for the children to enjoy throughout the year. The school focuses on education through sports and nature exploration, so we offer a wide range of sports activities, and the outdoor space includes a vegetable garden, chicken coop, and plant nursery, all of which are available for use by the children and the school community throughout the year.
  
  Our proposal is to work and live at the school and build a wonderful working community. The space is beautiful and spacious, and we have access to play areas and many sports options to try and enjoy together.
  
  On the other hand, from Puerto Varas there are many options for nature and sports lovers: climbing, trekking, water sports, and even surfing on the nearby beaches.

  Hola! Soy Lupe, y luego de haber tenido varias experiencias como Workaway Dr, hoy me toca cambiar de roles y ser anfitriona . Esta vez, en un hermoso grupo de trabajo y de la mano de quien supo ser mi anfitrión un par de años atrás.
  Hoy te ofrecemos vivir y trabajar en el colegio junto a grupo de motivados y enérgicos voluntarios en un hermoso edificio antiguo en el corazón de Puerto Varas.
  Nuestro proyecto consiste en aprovechar los meses de verano para hacer refacciones y mejorar los espacios comunes del colegio para generar un espacio más cálido y seguro para que los niños disfruten durante el año. El colegio está enfocado en la educación a través del deporte y de la exploración en la naturaleza por eso tenemos muchas ofertas de deportes y el espacio exterior cuenta con huerta, gallinero y vivero que durante el año es de uso de los niños y la comunidad educativa.
  Nuestra propuesta es trabajar y vivir en el colegio y generar una linda comunidad de trabajo. El espacio es hermoso, amplio y tenemos a disposición los espacios de juego y muchas opciones de deportes para probar y compartir
  
  
  Por otro lado, desde Puerto Varas hay muchas opciones para los amantes de la naturaleza y los deportes, escalada, trekking, deportes de agua y hasta surf en las playas cercanas.

  You'll be able to experience Chilean culture (and a little bit of Argentinian) alongside the people who work with us. We hope to share our way of life, our worldview, and the work we do at the school. We love exchange and learning from volunteers, so we'd love to welcome people who are eager to share their culture with us.

  Podrás experimentar la cultura chilena ( y un poco de la argentina) junto a la gente que trabaja con nosotros. Esperamos poder compartir nuestra forma de vida y de ver el mundo y el trabajo que estamos haciendo en el colegio.   Arbeit

  We hope to welcome volunteers who are open to learning and collaborating. We need help painting the classrooms, gardening, helping to restore the greenhouse, and doing some other small general maintenance tasks. There's a lot to do, so hopefully you can find something you enjoy and that motivates you. The idea is always to have fun and learn, be patient with each other, and help one another.

  Unterkunft

  We had to convert one of the rooms into a sleeping area. We don't have beds, but we have a lovely, spacious area for sleeping bags and sleeping mats. If you don't have your own, and you let us know in advance, we can get one for you too.
  
  We provide breakfast and will try to share one meal a day, which will be prepared by one of our staff or volunteers. If cooking isn't your strong suit, you can make a very simple dish to share. We love trying new things, we eat as healthily and with as much variety as possible, and if you feel like preparing something typical of your region, that would be more than welcome.
  
  We offer groceries to buy for cooking (we prefer to cook and eat together) and accommodation in a shared room. We work for about 4 hours a day, but we can arrange it so that everyone has time to explore and enjoy the area; there are so many things to do nearby.

  Debimos acomodar uno de los salones para dormir. No contamos con camas, pero tenemos un hermoso y amplio espacio para la bolsa de dormir y colchonetas. Si no tienes, y nos avisas con tiempo podemos conseguir una para vos también.
  
  Nosotros proveemos la comida para el desayuno y trataremos de compartir una comida al día, que estará a cargo de uno de nosotros, staff y voluntarios. Si la cocina no es tu punto fuerte podes hacer un plato muy sencillo, solo para compartir. Nos encanta probar cosas nuevas, comemos lo más sano y variado que podemos y si te es ganas de preparar algo típico de tu región, será más que bienvenido.
  
  Ofrecemos compra de comida para cocinar (preferimos cocinar y comer todos juntos) y alojamiento en cuarto común unas 4hs de trabajo por día, flexibles, las podemos organizar de manera que cada uno pueda tener tiempo para conocer y disfrutar de la zona, hay muchísimas cosas para hacer por la zona.
