English speaker to help at our stone cottages in the historic village of Siring, Turkey

  We have a small Anglo-Turkish business, we run four stone cottages for guests with private houses and either terraces or gardens
  
  The houses are part of the historic village of Sirince near the Aegean sea and the world famous ancient site of Ephesus
  
  We are a small husband and wife team and a loyal lady who has been cleaning and providing breakfast for our guests for years but we want to step back from greeting and helping our guests who are nearly all English speakers, you need to have a charming and helpful personality who enjoys people from all over the world and would like to settle in this village for a minimum of 2 months this summer . You must help out in all aspects of customer service and if you enjoy cooking that would be great!! First we will initiate you into all aspect of our village and you must be willing to help with watering the gardens, helping the guests and answering their questions.

  They would get their own room in our boutique heritage cottages and be free to enjoy themselves in the village and endless olive and peach grove hills
  A chance to explore the area and enjoy the many beaches, historic sites, local towns and village life in this lively village.

  Arbeit

  Meet and greet, orientate guests to their rooms or cottage and the village. Help out with all forms of interaction with the guests, calculate bills, take payments, answer guest queries and periodic help with housekeeping when needed. First you will work closely with my husband and I to learn the ropes but we are looking for someone who would like to try this type of work, a people person who is willing to do all aspects of our work.

  Unterkunft

  Self-contained room with en suite bathroom in village centre. All food will be provided, breakfast on the terrace each morning and then they can choose food they would like from the local market ,they will be able to use the kitchen facilities to cook and prepare their own food. If you are a painter or a photographer or a hiker or an archaeology enthusiast or need time to study that would be great as you will have a lot of time to pursue your own interests. As you will be the only workaway person here you must be ready to entertain yourself and be ready to learn about Turkish rural life. We might be open to a couple if they both had skills which would be useful to us.

  There are many walks starting from the village and a regular minibus service every 20 minutes down to the nearby small town from where you can access many ancient sites and lovely beaches.
