Beschreibung
We are presently renovating a 16th century monastery in the French countryside (Marnay-sur-Seine artist-oriented village, 1h train travel from Paris).
The project is destinated for personal use as well as partial use for an artist residency.
We are French family with German and Portuguese origins, with 2 kids (2 and 5 year-old boys).
During the helpers mission our very kind Germano-russian au-pair boy will also be present.
We enjoy good food, strolling through flea markets and French art de vivre.

Marnay-sur-Seine is a 250-inhabitant village with a very rich artistic character, provided with a beautiful botanic garden and a charming café as a meeting place. On hot summer days everybody here enjoys having a cooling bath in the Seine river.

Arbeit
A construction team is taking care of the main building works.
We are looking for helping hands mainly for the garden maintenance, occasionally also to give a hand to the construction team when needed.
This is why we would be happy to welcome 2 persons enjoying garden works and basic house-maintenance tasks. Helpers willing to decorate the rooms with furniture when needed, may be sometimes assemble furniture such as beds, shelves etc.

Our 2 helpers will have bedrooms and bathrooms situated directly in our new house. They will of course have free access to our family kitchen + are always welcome to join our meals.
