  The foundation is a non-profit organization for persons with disabilities that has been operating for 30 years. The main aim for the organization is to provide opportunities for persons with disabilities to live, work and integrate them into society with a humanistic, dignified approach.
  First, the Foundation arranged work opportunities for the persons with disabilities who lived in their own homes with their families. For an adult person, working is daily part of life and a way to earn a salary. Both of the aspects are essential in a person’s life whether or not they are a person with disabilities or without.
  After a while, a need for housing, supporting and providing care for persons with disabilities according to their individual needs appeared. The Foundation’s first ‘home’ for persons with disabilities opened its doors in 2001. In those times, it was a ground breaking initiative because all the residents had their own private space; a room and a bathroom. All the assistants took the residents’ needs, human rights and required support into account.
  The Foundation as a Rehabilitation Centre currently provides housing, employment, complex health care, special education and social system services for persons with disabilities. The Centre’s organizational framework consists of a non-profit Foundation offering housing, day-care, free-time activities, on one hand, and a Ltd. company responsible for the residents and non-residents’ employment, on the other hand. Currently, 120 persons with disabilities reside at the headquarters in Csömör; 39 people in supported living and 78 people in the institution for persons with disabilities. The day-care is available for 42 people and offers different activities every day as well as employment development. The Ltd. company employs 300 people (120 residents, 180 non-residents) in Csömör and another 280 non-residents in 12 other locations all over the country.
  The purpose of the Centre is to provide up-to-date care and development based on personal needs and to facilitate community and inclusion for persons with disabilities no matter what disability, illness or social status they have. The whole organization is committed to the principles of normalization, inclusion and human rights. Flexibility is one of the main attributes that our employees and operation focus on. All kinds of persons with disabilities (persons with cognitive disabilities, with physical disabilities, with autism spectrum disorders, with multiple disabilities, with hearing or visual impairment) are welcome in the Centre. A client-centred, individualistic approach ensures the complex and effective support for each member.
  In order to provide unique services in the different areas of the clients’ lives, the Centre’s employees have to cooperate by working together. All the members of the staff emphasize the parents’ involvement.
  A so called ‘Integrated House’, a 15 flat semi-detached house, has been open at the Centre since 2009. The program’s idea is to give families with adult persons with disabilities the opportunity to stay together. All the flats are the families’ own private properties and according to their needs, they are able to request services from the Centre. In the house, there is one more flat for a helper who provides 24-hour care if any problems or difficulties arise.
  The Foundation is opening another location in Tápióbicske in September 2019 as a proactive answer to the previous year’s experiences and demands. This location will provide supported housing, employment and training for 24 young adults with disabilities after foster care. This unit is unique in that it welcomes persons with disabilities after they are no longer eligible for child protection services.

  They can help to open a location for 24 persons with disabilites to live, to work, to start their adoult, independent life. The volunteers van live in a rural area of Hungary and get to known their lifes. They can have experience how to built up an integration of persons with disabilites in a community.

  Arbeit

  The Foundation is ready to finish the renovation of a Mansion and building 2 new houses. The help required to repair and fix a fence, a paddock, an old door, mainly wooden products. To help in all the works which are needed in the location. The first step is to paint the walls, repair the fence .
