Beschreibung
We are a family of 3 living on a really small farm just outside the town of Sauðárkrókur. We have around 25 sheep and we also own a few horses. We can use all kinds of help around our personal home, both inside and out, and we also love to meet new people. If you are interested in being a part of our family for a short time and see the beautiful landscape there is to see around us, please contact us :)

We usually try to have one meal a day where everyone sits together and discuss the day or what plans we are having, at least just enjoying each others company.

Mostly helping around the house mixed with all kinds of things that might come up. We also have a small greenhouse that we are trying to organize and take care of.

You would have a room of your own in our house and of course have access to other parts of the house as needed and be a part of the family as much as you wish.

Was noch ...
We are close to many historic places, for example Hólar í Hjaltadal, Grettislaug and Glaumbær. We are also very close to a great horse rental farm. And since the country isn't so big it doesn't take much time to drive around a bit to see something else. The volunteers have a chance to learn the icelandic language and be part of our family.
