Hello. I have been hosting for 10 + years and have over 50 positive references - on various hosting sites.
I live in Ngunguru on the famous Tutukaka coast
I have a 3 Yr old cat Bella. And a 2 year old cat Lilipet. They have both been rescued from homelessness/feral situations so both have had a very difficult former life. They may not let you meet them or approach so patient gentle cat lovers only plz.
I am a professional singer and a former professional bass player. I love to sing & dance. I love to sing more than anything in the world!! I'm a rock jazz, country, blues singer that's not to uptight and quite open minded about different lifestyles cultures and outlooks with a GLBT friendly home.
I lean towards a LCHF style of eating so unfortunately I cannot accommodate vegans.
I love fishing and in the summer I love camping, hiking and snorkeling (i want to learn to scuba dive and will do so when I get the $$$ together), gathering seafood, fishing, boating & being at the beach. It's a great thing live near the beach!! I love portrait photography and I'm a newly developed artist, enjoy painting landscapes.
I love board games I am also a bookworm with an insatiable appetite for books
I love to travel, and have been around the world (East all the way around to be exact) l will never get sick of traveling. Even small day trips are great fun! I enjoy being witty and I DO break out into song at a moments notice!!
My personal philosophy is atheist. (no-religion.) However I do believe in the universal truth, which to my mind is living a good life based on listening to your conscience. Respecting others right to believe what they want and I'm open to learning about all cultures and lifestyles.
I enjoy Interesting people with a GREAT sense of humor and intelligence. Musical and artistic people and people that can tell a great yarn (a story about their experiences) I like liberal open-minded critical thinkers.

I keep my house very clean and tidy.
I WORK SHIFT WORK AND HAVE DISABILITY AND MOBILITY ISSUES SO MY BIGGEST REQUIREMENT IS HAVING SOMEBODY TO HELP ME KEEP THE HOUSEWORK AND GROUNDS MAINTAINED
HOUSEWORK:
DAILY TASKS (4 tasks less than 1.5 hours in total)
- 8am vacuuming upstairs and downstairs in the morning (after breakfast)
- wash floors before bed (8pm)
- clean and dry all surfaces in the kitchen & bathrooms, including the benches, oven, microwave, and stove-top, showers etc after using them
- ensure all dishes are done as you go and benches wiped dry (and put dishes away in the correct location)
AS REQUIRED:
- help with laundry as required.
- meal prep and cooking. (Not often but only as required.)
- Feed Bella
WEEKLY (4 tasks 4-5 hours for an organised worker)
- change my bed sheets and wash and hang them out
- full spring clean of the house including dusting all surfaces, clean behind the toilet, scrub the bath/shower (kept immaculately clean), clean oven (don’t worry it’s immaculate), clean benches & underneath microwave, wipe clean the windows inside and out and the sills, vacuum under rugs, and behind movable furniture like sofas, tables, and side tables, remove any webs.
- mow the lawn and clip edges with trimmer
- weed the gardens
Any tasks that come up while you are visiting that I need extra help with (like an art or restoration project)
The house is kept very clean and tidy so the tasks aren't difficult or arduous but effective time management and planning are going to make this work much quicker with plenty of downtime for yourself to explore the area.

Your have a sofa in the living room that when deconstructed becomes a very comfortable single bed, share toilet and bathroom, share living areas & kitchen.
I’ll do my best to give you your space, please speak up if you wish some alone time, & I can go upstairs.

*️️️️there is unlimited wifi Internet.
*️️️️I always provide dinner but you might need to forage for yourself at breakfast and/or lunch. (Depending on my work hours)
I do not provide personal care items (things like soap, shampoo, conditioner etc).
*️️️️ if I'm not working I will be happy to take you to visit local places of interest in exchange for reasonable financial compensation for my vehicle running costs. (I don’t like to ask but I do expect you to offer)
