  Beschreibung

  The ecological farm project, which means "meeting" in Quechua, began three years ago. It started as a conventional coffee farm and transformed into one with all kinds of edible plants, beehives where I'm learning the beautiful art of beekeeping, and two small ponds with fish for my own consumption—all in an effort to be self-sustaining. I mainly make a living from the silver jewelry I craft and the coffee I produce on the farm. I also have a small craft beer business that I brew at home using water from the spring located on the property. Currently, I live alone with my dog, and I usually bring my children over on weekends. I'm planning a trip and for that reason, I'm looking for volunteers who would like to take care of the farm and the animals.

  El proyecto de finca eco lógica, que significa encuentro en quechua, comenzó hace 3 años de una finca cafetera convencional en una con toda clase de plantas comestibles, colmenas de abejas con las que estoy aprendiendo el hermoso arte de la apicultura, también tengo dos laguitos con peces para el consumo propio, todo buscando ser autosustentable.
  Vivo sobretodo de la joyería en plata que hago, del café de produzco en la finca
  También tengo un pequeño emprendimiento de cerveza artesanal que hago en la casa con el agua del manantial que hay dentro de la finca.
  En el momento vivo solo con mi perra y normalmente los fines de semana traigo mis hijos a la casa.
  Estoy planificando un viaje y por esa razón busco voluntarios que quieran cuidar la finca y los animales.

  The idea is to exchange knowledge related to art in general, and especially music and gastronomy, about green building, agriculture, and the beer-making process. We typically meet with neighboring families to do community work (mingas) and to make music and share with others.

  We do the tasks together and are related to agriculture, such as planting vegetables and fruit trees, sometimes working with bees, and during harvest season, with coffee. We also work in bioconstruction and home improvements, such as woodworking and bamboo. The idea is to exchange related knowledge.

  Unterkunft

  I have a room for volunteers and a beautiful space next to the river for camping. I have a tent and bedding. I have hot water and a kitchen that we share. I offer lunch, lodging, and hopefully share the rest of the meals to exchange recipes.
