Help needed with maintenance in a country house surrounded by forest near Zagreb, Croatia

  Beschreibung

  The house made of oak tree, surrounded by fields, forests and animals.
  Our vision is to create a welcoming place open to all nature lovers.
  It is a rural part of Croatia, undiscovered and wild, beautiful nature and people. We are planning to open a rural camping ground, in touch with nature.
  
  We need help with cleaning and maintenance around the house, such as grass cutting, painting and constructing some basic infrastructure (fence, outdoor showers and toilets for campers), cutting wood and similar.
  Minimum stay should be 2 weeks.
  
  *During whole June we need housesitting - taking care of the house and dogs.

  Croatia is known for it's beautiful coast (which you can visit, it is just 2 hours from our farm). But it's green interior still remains to be discovered. Our region is isolated and sometimes it feels like time travelling :). We are close to the frontier with Bosnia, so there is a lot of different traditions to discover.
  On the other hand, there are young and urban people in our neighborhood who decided to move to the country and live of the land and still have a good time.

  Painting the house,
  Building outdoor showers and toilets (natural materials such as mud and wood),

  Various gardening work and cutting of wood etc ...

  Unterkunft

  We have big room for sleeping for volunteers. There is also option to sleep in the tent. Contact us and we will see what fits you best.
  Regarding the food - we will provide groceries, volunteers can use kitchen and prepare food.

  Was noch ...

  The farm is situated just 2 hours from the sea and 1 hour from Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. It is also close to the most beautiful national park in Croatia, Plitvice lakes. Due to the obligations we have we will not be able to take you for longer excursions, so it helps if you have your own vehicle.
  We enjoy inviting our friends to parties, dancing and singing around the camp fire.
  We respect each person for who they are :).
