  We live in the beautiful Auckland suburb of Red Beach within walking distance of three beaches and cycling distance of many more and are looking for some help in the garden.

  We expect workawayers to participate in our family life so they will get a real idea of what a normal Kiwi family lives like.

  Arbeit

  We’re looking for a self motivated person/couple to work in the garden to get it nice and tidy. General help in the garden and inside the house. Gardening can include preparing the vegetable garden, mowing the lawn, weeding, tending/watering plants, sweeping the paths. Tasks within the house could be cleaning and/or cooking. Sometimes we have bigger projects that you make like to do - painting, water blasting the paths, etc. We are renovating our house so if you have building or carpentry skills they may come in useful.

  Unterkunft

  Accommodation is in the house with your own bedroom but shared facilities. As we are renovating the house so be prepared for it to resemble a building site. We are not vegetarian. No smoking, no drugs permitted.

  There is lots to do in the area particularly if you like beaches. Local places of interest include Shakespear Park (a working farm park), Snow Planet (indoor skiing), and plenty of cycling tracks, and bush walks.
  
  We would like you to join us in our daily activities - sports, etc, and would like you to see and experience the many things this area has to offer. If you wish to spend most of your free time on an electronic device please don't contact us as we feel if that is what you want to do you should have saved your airfare money and stayed at home.
