  We are an easy going, fun, active & busy family living in beautiful Squamish British Columbia Canada! We enjoy the outdoors including mountain biking, hiking, skiing and anything water related.
  
  Come explore the best that the West Coast of Canada has to offer. Squamish is surrounded by mountains, the ocean and has several small lakes.
  
  We are only 45 minutes to Whistler to the North and West Vancouver to the South.

  We speak English if you are looking to work on your communication in English. We can show you our famous local mountain bike trails and hiking trails.

  Arbeit

  We are looking for someone to help us with work around our house along the lines of yard work & painting touch ups etc. (some heavy lifting would be required). Potentially some inside house work but we are "not" in need of cooking or cleaning. Being "handy" with tools or landscaping would be an asset but not completely required.

  Unterkunft

  Fully furnished, Self contained studio suite with kitchen including stove & fridge & balcony with view of the mountains. Storage for sporting goods such as mountain bike. Walking distance (2 blocks) to grocery store and coffee shops etc.
  
  Dinner will be provided that we cook and welcome you to join our family for dinner where you will learn more about our area and Canada in general.
  
  But as we are a busy family working and with 2 boys in sports, we do not have set breakfast and lunch times. Instead you will have your own kitchen in your accommodation where you may cook or prepare your own breakfast and lunch. There is a fully stocked grocery shop and bakery just 2 blocks away to purchase food on your own.
  
  As we will not provide breakfast and lunch, instead of asking for 5 hours per day with 2 days off, we are only asking 4 hours per day for 5 days then 2 days off.
  
  We find this arrangement works best as most people wanting to come explore Squamish are here to also visit surrounding areas such as Whistler so want more time to do so.

  We also request that you speak a bit of English, enough to communicate with us about what tasks we require and expectations while living in our home so that both yourself and ourselves are comfortable in our arrangement.
