  Hi! My name is Stefano. I was born in Italy and I’ve travelled a lot for passion, always on a budget. This has given me a simple and authentic outlook on life.
  
  I have a strong desire to help others through concrete actions. For this reason, I founded an association in Modena that organizes:
  
  Local projects, such as drawing and painting classes inside the prison
  
  European projects, teaching young Europeans how to live close to nature
  
  All our projects share one goal: creating value and helping others.
  
  =We are looking for practical people with a positive attitude and, if possible, skills in construction, gardening, permaculture, sustainability, or manual work.
  
  The first project will include:
  
  Building a sustainable compost toilet
  
  Improving and arranging the land
  
  Creating a garden and an eco-friendly greenhouse
  
  I have a total of 6,000 m² of land to organize and transform into a small eco-village. There will also be a need for:
  
  Masonry work
  
  Gardening
  
  Working with olive wood

  🔨 Il Progetto Workaway
  Stiamo cercando persone pratiche, con voglia di fare, spirito positivo e, se possibile, competenze nei settori di costruzione, giardinaggio, permacultura, sostenibilità o lavori manuali.
  
  Il primo progetto sarà:
  
  Costruzione di una compost toilet in modo sostenibile
  
  Sistemazione del terreno
  
  Creazione di un orto e una serra ecologica
  
  In totale ho 6000 m² di terreno da organizzare e trasformare in un piccolo eco-villaggio. Ci sarà anche bisogno di:
  
  Lavori di muratura
  
  Giardinaggio
  
  Lavorazione del legno d’ulivo

  Arbeit

  1. Building a stone compost toilet
  
  I’d like to build two compost toilets made entirely from local stone, each around 2.5 square meters in size.
  
  Building skills (or a desire to learn) are welcome.
  
  2. Finishing the outdoor kitchen
  
  The structure is already started, but it needs to be completed to make it fully usable.
  
  3. Creating a shaded common area
  
  We plan to build a simple structure with a shade cloth to serve as a communal space for relaxing, eating, or doing outdoor activities.
  
  4. Starting a vegetable garden and greenhouse
  
  The garden will start from zero: we’ll need to prepare the soil, build a small greenhouse, and begin planting.
  
  Volunteers will share the harvest, and the long-term goal is to make the place partially food self-sufficient.
  
  5. Landscaping and green space care
  
  We want to create inviting green areas for relaxation or future activities (yoga, art, reading).
  
  We will also need to remove overgrown prickly pears and uproot some dead olive trees.

  1. Costruzione di un compost toilet in pietra
  
  Vorrei realizzare due compost toilet interamente in pietra locale, ognuno di circa 2,5 metri quadrati.
  
  Serviranno abilità pratiche nella costruzione o voglia di imparare.
  
  2. Ultimare la cucina esterna
  
  La struttura è già iniziata, ma ci sono ancora lavori da completare per renderla funzionale.
  
  3. Creare una zona comune con ombreggiatura
  
  Vorremmo costruire una semplice struttura con telo ombreggiante, dove rilassarsi, condividere i pasti o fare attività all’aperto.
  
  4. Creazione dell’orto e della serra
  
  L’orto partirà completamente da zero: bisognerà preparare il terreno, seminare e costruire una piccola serra.
  
  Il raccolto sarà per i volontari e l'obiettivo è raggiungere una parziale autosufficienza alimentare.
  
  5. Cura del verde e spazi per attività future
  
  L’idea è creare spazi curati, con angoli verdi dove rilassarsi o organizzare laboratori futuri (yoga, arte, lettura).
  
  Bisognerà rimuovere alcune piante di fichi d’India troppo invasive e sradicare degli ulivi secchi.

  Unterkunft

  I offer hospitality in an authentic Puglian trullo, just a few minutes from the crystal-clear sea of Torre Suda. The trullo has a single bed, but we can add a double bed or an extra bed. For now, the exchange will be free (accommodation in exchange for help), but there may be compensation for specific activities.
  
  At the moment, the trullo has no electricity and no running water. There is a fountain nearby where you can fill containers for drinking and daily use. There is also a portable manual shower — it’s a bit of a wild experience.

  Offro ospitalità in un trullo autentico pugliese, a pochi minuti dal mare cristallino di Torre Suda. Il trullo ha un letto singolo ma possiamo aggiungere un letto matrimoniale o un altro letto. Per ora lo scambio avverrà in forma gratuita (alloggio in cambio di aiuto), ma ci potranno essere compensi per attività specifiche, il trullo al momento non ha elettricità e neanche acqua, vicino c'è una fontana dove si possono riempire e utilizzare sia per bere che per usi domestici, c'è una doccia manuale quelle portatili, è un esperienza un po' wild.

  in your free time you can go to the crystalline sea of Torre Suda which is a 15 minute walk from the trullo, go to see the sunset in a beautiful bar on the rocks, but if you have a car, Gallipoli is ten minutes away, a city full of nightlife

  nel tempo libero puoi andare al mare cristallino di torre suda che dista a 15 minuti a piedi dal trullo, andare a vedere il tramonto in un bar bellissimo sugli scogli, invece se hai la macchina a dieci minuti c'è Gallipoli una citta piena di movida notturna.
