Enjoy remote living in a cabin near waterfalls in Asturias, Spain

  Hello! I am a 23 year old traveller from germany that after doing alot of woofing myself on different projects in Australia, New Zealand and here in Europe has finally found his place where I can start my own project. Last year I came across a 1 hectare big land with a stone cabin for sale by luck when I was hitchhiking around Spain. It is located in the North, (south of infiesto, asturias) where temperatures are not as dry and hot as the rest and almost feel tropical sometimes due to the humidity. I find it very suitable for trying to start permaculture Gardens as there is plenty of sun and yet alot of water. The water comes from a nearby waterspring straight from the mountain. Also nearby are many different cascades and waterfalls. You can hear them all day. It is one of the last places in Europe almost untouched by human interference and some trees are hundreds of years old. You find animals unique to this region and almost extinct in other places of Europe. The climate and landscape reminds me alot of New Zealand. I imagine alot of possibilities on the land. Personally I am very interested in concepts like forest Gardens and using nature to benefit the system rather than working against it. Already there is alot to find like mushrooms, hazelnuts and many more wild foods and herbs. But every start is also challenging, especially in the mountains.
  If you don't mind the rather adventurous state my land is in then I'm sure you will have a great time in nature. I am very new to this place to and can feel magic all around. I want people to feel the freedom and express whatever it is they want.
  As long as you respect nature you can freely create here and find time to do art or experiment with new ways of gardening.
  Wanna build a clay sauna? Or a waterslide? Or just enjoy the view and play some music? Everything is welcome.

  People staying will soak into one of the last primeval natural places of Europe and get away from the daily hustle of city life. I can share my knowledge of wild edible food, gardening and other bushcraft. Hopefully I can as well learn from everyone visiting, each person is welcome to add to the whole picture from their own experiences. I want the land to be an opportunity for ecological minded souls to be creative and use it as a sort of sandbox. Ideally we can create a group that can explore an alternative way of life in harmony with nature. I want everyone to feel the possibility to have a say and choose what project to focus on.

  Arbeit

  On my land there probably is a million things to do. Depending what kind of person you are you can spend all day in the forest collecting mushrooms (And you will probably find tons as I do, especially this year...!) or you can help me create a garden, do some natural building on the hut, build cool things with sticks or just explore and maybe we find some caves or even more waterfalls.

  Unterkunft

  At the moment I provide a big bell tent, 3 metres in diameter that has a nice comfy thick matress, a little leather chair and a beautiful carpet that a volunteer last year gifted me haha! You can choose to stay there or I can offer more large tents with matresses unless you prefer your own. There is a kitchen area, running water with sink and a waterfall swimming spot 5min away that serves as a shower.

  There is no reception directly on the land but 5 minutes up the hill. Its not really luxury here but for me it is quite a paradise. Please be prepared with the right hiking shoes and be aware that we are quite away from civilisation.
