  We are a family of 4, we live in Altamura, a wonderful city in south Italy(Puglia).
  I am Viviana and I am in my thirties, I'm a housewife and even if I ve two degrees in economics , I have decided to dedicate my life to taking care of my babies who were born in July 2015 and April 2018. I love practice yoga. Since I’m mum, I have been studying psychology, science of education and my goal is to respect my kids as my peer.
  My husband is a construction engineer. Maria Antonietta plays the violin ,loves animals and playing with stuffed animals (especially dogs and kitties); loves to build forts with blankets, adores playing boarding games and plays with cards ; Vito matteo loves playing with lego, reading, role playing; both love hide and seek, creative plays.
  I would like to teach the foreign languages in order to raise them multilingual even if at the moment we prefer native English speaker.
  
  
  Altamura is very close to Matera (UNESCO, European culture capital 2019).
  Altamura is the city of the best baked bread! The closest airport is Bari which is connected by bus and trains (appulolucane); I will be glad to help you to arrange the best and cheapest way to reach us.
  
  I really love hosting people because I also think that is the best way to teach my children the joy of sharing!
  
  I try to respect nature and the world. I make lots of eco friendly detergents by myself.
  We prefer Mediterranean diet with lots of fruits and vegetables not too much meat, so if you are veggie lover , you will be in the right place:)
  
  We love that our hosts become part of family so there are not strict schedules just helping each other like in a normal family, exchange life experiences and improving English.
  
  I accept JUST girls who REALLY love babies and really love spending time with them! So if you are in doubt about it, give up. I don’t need people who can just offer household help also because i have my lovely housekeeper who cares about cleaning up the house. What I ask to workawayers in the house is just very little and simple tasks. I do not very much like saying what i need to do in the house every time, so if you see dust , dirty, mess around or clothes to fold, just do it :)) I ask you to be neat and tidy.
  
  
  
  Of course my children are my life and my priority is their wellness! So please , do not apply if you are in doubt or you don’t like too much children.
  
  I enjoy teaching cooking and learning new recipes from people from other countries.
  If you want, i can teach you some Italian recipes, as i often bake bread, desserts, pizza, pasta and other famous dishes. Although we eat everything, vegetarians or vegans are welcome. We prefer organic and homemade food. Lots of food (eggs, chicken, some fruits and vegetables) come from our country house, so super organic.
  
  I am keen to tell you that almost all of my hosts have come again to our house because they feel so good and real friendships start! :)
  
  It’s important you are very very fluent in English because my priority now is my kids to learn English by playing.
  
  All the weekends are free so you Can explore the area.
  We have a cat, her name is Muffin; she is adorable (she’s a British shorthair so she is very sociable and friendly); it could happen we will ask u to cat sitting when we are out for weekends or more days.

  They can also visit lot of wonderful cities nearby. Like matera ,Gravina in Puglia, Bari, polignano a mare, alberobello.
  Altamura is very calm city, you can go out also during the night.
  There are lots of activities to do also for foreigners.

  •Clean up after meals: do dishes/pack dishwasher, wipe tables and counters, sweep or vacuum kitchen
  •vacuum the house especially kitchen and lounge
  •keep kids Room tidy
  •hang out washing after each load
  •fold and pack away dry clothes
  •wash your apartment
  •take the rubbish downstairs
  •clean up the cat’s litter box
  •cat sitting eventually
  •play with the kids (IF YOU WANT MY KIDS TO LOVE YOU : play play play and play :) and teach them English

  Unterkunft

  Your accommodation is in a separately house very close to our apartment that we will pay for you.
  
  UPDATE FEB 2022: because in this period we need more privacy, we decided to offer to Workawayer a loft that we will pay for her.The Workawayer will be part of the family meals (lunch and supper).the loft is well furnished, there ‘s a bed, shower , a cupboard, a kitchen , a table,and a big balcony.
  So because I’m paying for a rent house, I ask u to be decided and communicate as soon as possible the right dates you want to visti us. Thanks for collaboration

  Weekend are off for traveling and relaxing.
