We are a young family from California who moved to New Zealand 4 years ago. Alex is a dual citizen of the USA and NZ so we decided to take a leap of faith and follow our dream of moving to the countryside of New Zealand. We bought this homestead last year and have been slowly but surely renovating the farmhouse and regenerating the land. We had our daughter, Eliana in February 2024 — our little kiwi. 💕 The farmhouse sits on 2 1/2 acres. This is a hobby lifestyle block with friendly farm animals that are our pets. :)

Travelers can feel connected to the beautiful land surrounding them and disconnect from the daily grind. We have lambs and other friendly farm animals they can feed and spend time with. Our land is full of native trees, and fruit trees, we have many native birds all around the land as well.
Arbeit
We are a young couple living on 2 1/2 acres. We need help getting our landscaping and gardening in order and need general help around the property. We bought this farmhouse about a year ago now and have been slowly renovating it over time. We might also ask for help with painting a fence or door. Any building or construction skills would be great as we are in the process of renovating the sleep-out (granny flat).

Unterkunft
We have a sleep-out (granny flat, little apartment) that has been newly renovated with a projector to stream movies and tv shows. It's a very lovely space. You'll have lots of privacy, your own bathroom, shower, kitchenette, workspace, and more.
Was noch ...
We work from home so will be around on the grounds helping from time to time but during the week we will be inside the house working. We usually leave groceries in the apartment so that you can sort yourself for breakfast and lunch with some exceptions if we are available to cook. We will always host you for dinner though if course. We are in the countryside so there is a beautiful walk just right outside our door. The town of Masterton is 15 minutes away with a movie theatre, restaurants, shops, and everything you might need.
