Help with granny-sitting in Martigues, France, Oct/Dec

  Hello, I am english and live in Provence in the south of france. My husband is french. My mother is in a home about 5 minutes from the house 93 this year. She does not walk well and spends most of her time in her room. I am looking for someone or a couple to go and visit her and walk with her every day for about lhr. The home people do not speak english so it is really contact that she needs. Must speak english. I want to visit my son and family in the states later in the year, dates to be discussed. We are in Martigues known as ' La venise Provencal' which is mostly french orientated. Not many english speakers. Would be a very good oportunity to perfection french! Would this interest anyone. Details to be decided after a chat on Skype. I need someone towards the end of the year. Probably Nov/Dec. Lesley

  There is plenty to do in the area. Martigues is one of the oldest villages in France (2000) yrs. Plenty of chance to perfection french.

  We have a nice spare room but there is a choice of two other rooms. We have three floors with balcony on last floor overlooking the lake. Ten minutes walk from town centre and also bus. We will provide a car.

  We have everything. Walking, golf tennis, the sea is very close. Boating fishing. Good bus service, but we could organise the use of a car. We have very helpful neighbours. We are about 20 mins from the center of Marseille. The airport and main station are 20 mins by car.
