  I'm an enthusiastic gardener and nature-loving person living in a country house 2.5km outside Nenagh, Co. Tipperary. I've raised a family of four children and am enjoying my retirement, gardening, making nutritious food and visiting friends and family. I enjoy travel, literature and movies. I enjoy meeting people from different cultures. I have a wide local network of friends and community. Last year I had a knee op, and I need help with gardening and maintenance around the place. This would be a great way to learn about Irish culture and nature, and get an introduction to Ireland. I had my first two Workaways last June 2024, and it was a great success, so I'm enthusiastic to host more this year.

  I'm in a great location in rural County Tipperary, 5km from Lough Derg. I'm a great baker and enjoy home-cooked meals.

  Arbeit

  I've always been a keen gardener but recently the garden is too much work for me. I've a large country house and I'd love some help keeping on a top of the garden, clearing, weeding and reviving fruit beds. I also have some light maintenance with stuff around the house. It's not heavy work, just clearing old beds, refurbishing some fruit cages, weeding driveways and that type of thing.

  I'm based near Nenagh Co Tipperary, it's a bustling market town, with plenty of local shops, cinema, cafés, swimming pool and gym. I'm only 5km from Lough Derg with beautiful walks and wild swimming. I'm within walking distance of the town. From Nenagh there are trains and buses available for travel all over Ireland.
