Moin, as we say in northern Germany! I’m Anike, an animal and sports lover from Germany, eager to take on a new challenge! This is my first time using Workaway, and I’m incredibly motivated to pitch in on a farm or ranch this year, get my hands dirty, and, above all, learn a lot. I’m actually a soldier in the German Armed Forces and spent many months at sea last year on the Navy’s training ship. I’ll soon be starting another training program in the military, but until then, I’d love to live out my dream of country life. Dressage, horse breeding and caring about animals in general have been a part of my life since childhood and I’m currently working as a farmhand on a farm with many Cows, which I really enjoy. I would wish for an opportunity to continue to ride horses from time to time while my Workaway experience. So - if you’re looking for a helping hand or a travel buddy, just let me know :)!

Mexico

I'm a French student currently studying in the US. I'm looking to volunteer in Costa Rica before going back home in France.

I am an easy-going, open-minded, bubbly person who loves learning, lending a helping hand, and connecting with people from all over the world. I am happiest outdoors amongst beautiful nature and animals, or when I am playing sports and games of any kind. I enjoy painting beautiful views for people I care about, listening and dancing to music of any kind, and feeling the beautiful smiles of people and animals around me. I love helping people in any shape or form, so tell me what to do and consider it done. I am travelling to experience the true culture and experiences of other countries, starting with Japan. I will be in Japan for a few months from mid-February, hiking and backpacking the remote areas to immerse myself in the nature and spiritual aspects of Japanese culture.

I am walked the full Camino Frances in April and May, and will be visiting family in Spain in June. I will be traveling and looking for experiences from end of June onwards, with flexibility!

Currently in Spain - I will be spending the next several weeks exploring Andalucia.
