Hi there! I last used this community around 2017 and I'm glad to be back. I started again in a lovely farmhouse and meditation center in Jurançon and I'm now in with the 2d host in Palombara Sabina.

Carter and I both studied sustainable development through our undergraduate at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. I (Kaylen) have also studied environmental biology. This has sparked both of our interests in conservation of natural lands and sustainability in everyday life and within our local food system. We both have experience working on farms in our area and with various local non-profit organizations (F.A.R.M. Cafe, BRWIA's Food Hub, Hospitality House of Northwest NC), as well as throughout the United States through WWOOF. We hope to learn new skills and languages while we travel. We are both very interested in animal care, frequently fostering cats at our local shelter. We would also love to learn new artistic skills, such as pottery and other crafts. We also love to cook and trying new foods! We have always had a passion for traveling and exploring, and one of our favorite parts of work-exchanges is the opportunity to connect with our hosts to share cultural experiences and gain insight into life abroad!

Aloha I was born in America in a multicultural family. In my youth my elders and mentors ingrained in me a deep appreciation of physical and intellectual development. In college I studied psychology, mathematics, and the natural sciences. For a long time, I was blind to the spirit that permeates all life and connects all things. Every day I am working on further developing that sense and understanding. I’ve always been interested in health and healing, and I study the soul/body as a holistic system that requires balanced physical, mental, emotional, spiritual awareness and attention in order to achieve its highest potency and wellbeing. My goal in life is to create a permaculture-based space of cultural and ecological preservation and abundant food production—a haven where the modern, misplaced, materialistic soul can be healed by natural sources, by community, by reconnection with divine love, and by the encouragement of creativity, imagination, and self expression through spiritual inspiration. Ideally it will be a self-sustaining organism that transcends destructive and exploitative global practices. My work experience includes child care, animal care, tutoring, sports coaching, health coaching, food service, landscaping, and farming. I have volunteered on many beyond-organic farms in North and South America and Europe since 2015. —I’m knowledgeable about permaculture, and I'm proficient in creating and maintaining natural, efficient food production systems. —I’m a skilled carpenter and a resourceful craftsman with experience in timber framing, sawmilling, and natural building —I have mechanical experience from doing maintenance on cars, motorcycles and farm equipment. —I am a well-versed nutritionist I enjoy waking up early and staying in sync with natural rhythms. I like being productive, spending my time working in nature, and making my surroundings more fruitful, inviting, and harmonious. I don't work hastily so I can go do something else or try to get as many things done as possible. Rather, I prefer to go slowly and carefully to make sure things are done right and to allow room for any subtle spiritual guidance and affirmation. Other interests include music, sound healing, plant medicines, massage therapy, meditation, art, literature, philosophy, anthroposophy, sports/running/swimming/climbing/etc, but most of all, I admire emotional, mental, and spiritual maturity/intelligence and deep connection with others. I'm also a lawyer and an American State National, and, if you are a U.S. citizen, I would be more than happy to help you terminate your corporate franchise maritime affiliation with the United States of America (Incorporated); to become a State National or State Citizen; to return to the land jurisdiction of international law; and to regain your Constitutional rights, guarantees, and protections under American Common Law that you have lost. The Constitution still exists, and its glorious guarantees can still be applied, despite its current lack of application to your life due to a great deal of lies and misinformation to which you have been exposed. Thank you (If you are a citizen of another "country" (corporation), I can also help you return to the land jurisdiction though I will not be able to provide guidance in operating and navigating through your particular "country's" maritime laws.)
