Hi :) We are Ida (20) and Lotta (18), sisters from Germany. We graduated in July 2025 with our “Fachabitur.” Now we want to see the world, meet new people, and gain as many new experiences as possible while learning new skills and sharing beautiful moments with different people around the globe. We think the possibility of meeting people, you would normally never encounter because of distance, is incredible, and we would love to help and support wherever we can, as well as share stories and knowledge with others. We grew up in a warm, loving family, where everyone is close and supportive no matter what. We also value creating a comfortable, fun, and friendly atmosphere, and we would love to bring that warmth to a new “family” for a while. We are used to helping around the house, doing chores, gardening, or taking care of animals. Since we were little, we have had chickens, which we love because they give the feeling of having a small farm in the garden, and we really enjoy taking care of them. Besides that, we had rabbits and guinea pigs. Unfortunately, we have never had our own dog, but luckily our neighbor has one, and we often spend time with it, sometimes taking care of it for several days when the neighbors are on vacation. We just love that. Now, a little bit more about our personalities ;) We are both very friendly and supportive people who love chatting with others and sharing funny moments together. We are also very organized, ambitious, and love learning new things. At first, we sometimes need a little time to warm up to new people since we are not completely outgoing—but this doesn’t last long. Once we get to know someone, we are talkative, funny, and always ready to help wherever we can. Having spent a year each doing an internship in a kindergarten, we love spending time with children, doing different sports and creative activities, and making them feel comfortable and safe. In the past, we traveled a lot with our family (our parents and sweet little sister), mostly to Sweden and Italy. We just love spending time together, going camping—even if it can get a little chaotic with five people ;) We believe family and friends are the most important and precious things in life, and we would love to expand our circle and meet new people. I (Lotta) speak English at B2 level and learned French for four years (B1 level). However, since my last class was two years ago, I might need a little refresher. I also learned Spanish for the last year (A2 level). I just love learning different languages because it allows me to communicate with people from all over the world, which I think is incredible! I (Ida) also speak English at B2 level and have studied Spanish for the last year (A2 level). I feel the same way about languages :) We would love to improve our skills or even teach others what we know. Oh, and of course, we both speak German as our mother tongue. We are really looking forward to meeting you, having many experiences, and making the most of every moment :) Feel free to ask us anything you’d like to know—sometimes we forget to mention things, since we know ourselves so well ;)

Meet up
I love staying active and I have a hard time sitting still for too long. I’m especially passionate about the mountains sports (skiing, hiking). I also enjoy meeting new people and

Hi! My name is Carmen, I’m 20 years old and currently on my second gap year, still exploring different paths before starting university. I was born in Germany, grew up partly there and partly in Poland, and I’ve always loved discovering new cultures and places. My dream is to see the whole world and find my place in it. Workaway is a perfect way for me to travel on a budget and experience local life while helping out where needed!

I'm from Japan. I used to work at cosmetic companies in Japan, but I quit to travel! I did workaway in 2019-2020, and it was really nice, so I started workaway again.

Hello everyone! I'm Seden from Istanbul, Turkey. What motivates me is to be a lifelong learner and to have a sense of curiosity. So, it's time to get out of the comfort zone. I've decided to travel, see new places, meet people all around the world and of course learn languages with native speakers. I know there are a lot of people like me and I hope we meet soon!
