    Description

    English version :
Welcome to the Pays des Collines, where we live and work as a family in an ecological materials shop, renovating buildings and making organic and ancient flours.
Roumi and Médienka run the materials shop,
Sophie looks after the flour mill, the vegetable garden and the livestock with Danao, who also works with Nayan on building sites and deliveries.

We are self-sufficient in mutton, chicken, fruit and vegetables. We bake sourdough bread every week in a wood-fired oven. We like to cook and bake, and do all kinds of transformations.
When we arrived here 20 years ago, our plan was to leave within 5 years and find a farm to live on. We were home-schooled, but time went by and now we're looking for another country to live in the mountains.

We love to work, but we also have a real sense of humor!
We're close to Ghent and Brussels by train.
We can pick you up near Flobecq.

Over the next few months, we'll be weeding and planting a few more vegetables, watering every day, building a small house and looking after the chickens and sheep for the year.

You'll be working most of the time with Sophie, Danao or Nayan.
You can really improve your French here, as I used to teach it to my 4 children.
You'll also be able to cook, knit, play music, go for walks, find sources on the pendulum.
We love the cinema and watch a film every day.

You can sleep in a room or in a tent as you wish. The 3 meals are taken together. If you wish to eat on your own that is possible.

There are plenty of walks to do.
The house is pleasant, the scenery magnificent... !

I am motivated to help you learn French. I was my children's teacher for 10 years and I know the basics of French grammar well. It sounds boring like that but I love learning through games!
