We are an organic farm that produces grass-fed beef, lamb and goat. Our property lies within 150 acres of grassy paddocks and bush, populated by over 40 cows, 10 goats and 15 sheep. Robert and Petra have been here for many years, teaching customers, volunteers and visitors the benefits of organic nutrition. We love outgoing talkative people to help us on our farm. We enjoy stories, laughing and having fun.
Help in the house
We farm environmentally and animal friendly. This means animals are kept outside most of the year, free roaming the paddocks and grazing. We are full of expert knowledge on a wide range of organic practices, animal husbandry as well as being able to offer nutritional advice and information regarding health issues. Learn how to eat well and live the most eco-friendly and beneficial way for yourself and the animals' well-being.
Our many customers enjoy visiting our farm and listening to the latest animal stories.
Everyday farm chores include mucking out, feeding animals, shepherding flock, and general maintenance like fencing, restocking barn supplies and such. Stamina is a great asset when moving hay bales and grain!
We love to teach and spread our knowledge. We both have a wide range of experience that we like to share in the barn or at the dinner table. We enjoy listening to your experiences as well.
Winter can be hard depending on the cold temperatures and snow. That is the time when we need the most help. We
need to clear the snow and make paths to the barn and different gates by hand.
Our farm is powered by a large generator that supplies us with all the electricity needed to function well. At night we turn everything off which allows us to sleep well and in a quiet environment.
You can use our internet service but we pay by usage due to our location in the country. Hence, we are asking our help to be reasonable and also use email to stay in touch with their friends and family.
Please check our website for more details or email your questions.

Every Sunday, we usually go out for the afternoon to visit local festivals, events or villages. Helpers are welcome to join us or stay on the farm and just relax. We can drop you off at a nearby mall to do some shopping and get faster WiFi access (We have internet and phone available for our helpers at the farm as well).
Our farm is located adjacent to the Trans Canada Trail in the countryside where you can run, hike or use a bicycle in your spare time. The next small town is only 15 min. away by car and you can join us on our shopping sprees.
During the winter months you can cross country ski or snow shoe and go for walks on our property.
You can spend your time off in the city if you wish.
