Johanna contacted us looking for a family to spend Christmas with - we were looking for someone to look after our animals while we are away for a few days during December (we assured her that we would be here at home for Christmas and she was welcome to spend it with us). She arrived on the day we arranged but without contacting us at all to let

She re-emerged a couple of hours later saying she was going to meet her family who are on holiday in the area. She then left and didn't return and has yet (2 days later) to contact us to inform us of her change of plans!!!! Her manners really leave a lot to be desired.

Thais and Marine stayed with us for about a month. They helped out in the house, in the garden and with our children. They also looked after our house and pets for us while we were away for a few days. They are really nice, friendly, enthusiastic, helpful and hardworking. They're also very independent and adventurous!! They were really good with

It was our first workaway but we were enjoying it because Kevin and Nicola were very nice and confident with us. We discovered the beautiful Kerry's county with Dingle, Cahersiveen, Killarney. They drove us until Tralee !
We spent some good times with their two childrens and we hope they will remember some french animals names that we learnt to

Nicola's cooking is exellent and we are going to try to cook the same in France, we hope that our crepes receipe will be great !

Matthieu stayed with us for about 2 weeks. He looked after our house and pets while we were away on holidays and helped out around the garden and with our children while we were here. He did a wonderful job looking after everyone for us while we were away. When we got back the house was spotless, our dogs were really happy and our cat didn't seem

He's good company and he was really good with the kids - he involved them in what he was doing outside and they loved all the lego building. We'd definitely recommend him as a workawayer!!
I stayed two weeks in Nicola and Kevin's home, and I had a great experience. Most of the time I was doing housesitting (taking care of the dogs, cat and hens) while they were on holidays. I also helped a little bit with weeding and spent some time with the children. Kevin, Nicola, their children are super nice, the dogs are friendly and playful,

I felt welcome from the very minute, and I really appreciated how I was trusted as a member of the family, and the fact that they let me food, bike, etc and even introduced me to a family's friend before they left. Besides this part of Ireland is beau-ti-ful. I highly recommend these hosts!!Feedback

My experience with Nicola, Kevin, Sean, and Sadhbh was unforgettable in the best of ways.
My highlights include weekend French toast (if the chickens cooperate hehe), Sean’s tractor alarm, “noisy” Irish songs played in the car and live in the kitchen, Sadhbh’s pants optional rule, Nicola’s delicious cooking, morning meditation, SHEEP, night time
… read more tours, and the list could go on and on.
All in all it was a pleasure staying with this “super duper” family and I’ll be forever grateful! You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.
