My love for humanity, animals, nature, travel, and dream of living on a farm got me since February 2024 landing on a fixer-upper Farm in Morocco. Having Pipi Longstocking as my childhood hero had something to do with it too... I landed in "Villa Villekulla" in Morocco solo female :)

  • Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

I want this to be a cultural exchange.
At times we can visit friends in another village, share a meal with the community, go to a Hammam, play board games, visit the traditional farmers market, and organize day/weekend trips to dive into Moroccan history … I’m open to ideas and wishes and if I can make them happen why not…

    I'm new to this ...

Farm life is for early birds or individuals who want to become one.

Carpenter lovers; The Farm is a fixer-upper, the house is standing and strong condition (I have painted the inside), but it needs some renovation as it got hit by an earthquake, and has cracks on the wall. The kitchen needs to go back to its original location.the bathroom need to be plastered, tiled, shower installation and a sink. You’re a gem if you’ve worked in construction.

Soil lovers; The trees need TLC, Seasonal harvest and pruning, cultivation, and clearing land from debris rocks, sticks and branches. Planting plants, and herbs that are of benefit for humans, animals, and soil... Need help with composting.

Art lovers; I have an idea ... The influence of Islamic/ Moors/ Turkish / Spanish/ Moroccan, art and design is desired... Hoping to create a simple yet sophisticated place for all to enjoy. What are your art skills?

Animal lovers; Give our four legs friends TLC. There are 6 cats, chickens, turkeys, and a dog ( experienced dog trainers wanted, 🐶 ). I would love the family to grow to 2 goats, a beehive, two extra dogs, and a horse.

Environment lovers: At times I take a bag with me to pick up trash around the land and the road as unfortunately the "new age" comes with tons of packaging and trash. Eventually, I want it to catch on the villagers to do the same, it's work in process.

Food lovers; The kitchen is all yours if you like to cook and love your spices, you can help design the kitchen for practical use...

House sitting - At times I'll need to travel for about 10 days, hopefully, you're comfortable staying home alone or with other Work Awayers.. Responsibilities during house sitting will be helping with house/garden/pets. Preference goes to animal lovers...

This is a hands-on situation and you can do whatever it is you’re good at. At times there are tasks that need priority or are urgent and need to be worked on. I want my guests to enjoy and love where they at.
PLEASE, finish projects you start as it is hard to keep unfinished projects around that I know nothing off, this does not count for on going projects.

This is a farm, and farm life is nothing like city life. If this sounds like something you like to be part of, please answer the below questions when you reach out. There are days we work more and there are days we just keep it "easy like Sunday morning".
I receive emails regularly and like to be efficient in answering your emails.

    - Approx arrival date?
    - How long do you plan to stay?
    - Will you arrive by public transportation, car/ camper, or HitchHike?
    - The skills you will bring with you?
    - What project you like to take the lead or assist in?
    - Do you believe that "no job is big or small"?
    - Are you comfortable with a humble stay as I don't have a lot of furniture?
    - Are you comfortable sleeping on a mattress on the floor?
    - Interested in Farmsitting
    - Feel free to ask questions in your email

Thank you for taking the time to answer the above questions.
