    Description

    We are have a small holding , we keep 55+ colonels of bees for Honey, we sell some honey to cover costs of feeding, cost of hive upkeep and medican and not for profit. and breeding of Queens to further improve our bees. We have 2 Aberdeen Angus cows for milking, we have our own beef cows also for our own meat. Other animals we have are; chickens and ducks. We also cut our own peat to heat with. Apart from this we have two dogs and give cats and a large poly tunnel to grow our veg.
    In the summer we run bee keeping course's for beginners we give these courses in exchange for help on our homestead. one current project is the restoration of a 1979 13.5m Bluewater cruising yacht.

    our nearest village is 7k ,Sligo is a bus ride of 20k we have fantastic walking close by with mountains and lakes to see , it is also close to the Atlantic Ocean, Check out the sligo way for more details. We also are in the process of restoring a KP 44 yacht so sailing experience is an advantage 😀.
