Suffice to say that Jeremy and Lance are back with us again, and what a pleasure it is to see them.
The guys are fun to live with, and a shining example of good citizenship for New Zealand. They are both interesting ,and interested in what is happening in the world.
Their range of skills is only surpassed by their willingness to solve problems in

Additionally they have done painting and decorating inside and out, installed computers and printers, cleansed old hard discs, emptied our 20 square metre lock up, framed and hung pictures, stored stuff in the loft and cellar, removed stuff to charity shops, repaired some electrical items, built shelving and some ikea furniture, cooked meals and generally been good company.!
Watching them problem solve and or design their way around some tasks is educational and they normally "come up trumps".
Despite the obvious age difference between us and them we prefer to think of them as friends or family, and long may it continue!
We really enjoyed our time with Nic and Ewa! They’re a very sociable couple that are easy to get along with.
We each had a comfortable room to ourselves and a modern shower/toilet to share. They were very hospitable, the food was great and plentiful! Nic was eager to share his culture and we had a chance to try a variety of unique (to us) dishes

We had a variety of tasks such as gardening, painting, general maintenance, furniture assembly/moving and they made sure that we had the right equipment to do our jobs. Working hours were flexible, we were able to work when we wanted and choose our days off.
Nic was very generous and would often offer to drive us to places we needed to go to and gave us tours around the local area. We were also fortunate to meet some of their family members who were just as nice and sociable!
Some of our highlights were; spending time with Nic & Ewa at the local pubs, trying delicious new food, exploring the forest and nearby towns, and learning about Polish culture with Ewa.
Overall, we had a great time with Nic, Ewa (and the cats Toby and Misha) and wouldn’t hesitate to come back. We recommend this workaway to anyone who enjoys socializing and small-town living!

I had a wonderful time with Nic and Ewa, they made me feel at home from the minute I stepped through the door!
We spent a lot of time talking and sharing things from our different cultures, also Nic is a fabulous cook, so I didn't go hungry!
They spent time showing me around the area, and also allowing me access to their electric bikes so I

We were very excited to welcome our first workaway guest, from the moment a smiling Mab arrived at the airport her enthousiasm was infectious. she fitted right away in the houshold and was even accepted by our normally cautious cats. Mab is a very good companion and a very self motivated, inteligent and hard working girl. She would take on

We also had a lot of fun showing Mab around local area and visited Amsterdam to make the experience more diverse. We have extended an open invitation to visit and we are looking forwad to seeing Mab again very soon.

Wow, how can I summaries in a few sentences what I have experienced with Ewa and Nic. It was a great example of what was Workaway created for : an exchange of ideas and life lessons and the chance to feel home abroad. Ewa and Nic succeeded in this as they made me feel super welcome in their home, they dedicated lots of their time to show me around
… read more and other cities and they gave me the chance to practice my skills. Nic is an amazing cook so you'll never go hungry and you'll definitely experience the best of all cuisines of the world. And the work is super fun as it consists mainly in room painting/decorating and building furniture.
Plus, they're very flexible so it easier to organise the work hours yourself.
Also, the location is perfect as it's near the train station. From that station you can easily get to the main cities and Ewa and Nic will help you for sure if you have any doubts/difficulties.
I already promised you guys I'll be back,
I'm super grateful for the experience!Du kannst nur Workawayer mit aktiver Mitgliedschaft kontaktieren.
