Beschreibung
We are a young family of four living on acerage in Springwood, Queensland. Our main house has recently been renovated and our additonal property is now vacant. A beautiful two bedroom cottage has it all, nestled in the bush on our eleven acre property on the edge of the Daisy Hill Forest.
We love the quiet bush setting but is also convienently located only 25 mins to Brisbane and 45 mins to the Gold Coast. Our two kids (6,7) and our dog love living here and we are are all avid travellers ourselves. We love meeting new people. The idea of work away was brought to us by our neighbours having had many amazing travellers visit their home. -

We live on the edge of Daisy Hill forest so the Australian bush - as well as mountain biking and bush walking - are right at our doorstep. But at the same time, we are in the middle of Brisbane - just 25 minutes from Brisbane city and walking distance to public transport. The beach is a 45 minute drive away. If you want peace and quiet, there is plenty of that. And if you want to get out and do things, then we are close to everything.

Arbeit
The help varies from domestic things like cleaning windows to gardening, animal care and general yard help.
We have found that pairs tend to suit us best. Or singles who enjoy peace and quiet. There are lovely spaces to relax in but we are not party central. We are happy to take singles but are best for those seeking quiet spaces and time for chilling out. If you’re looking a for lots of socialising, then we are probably not a good fit for you. Although we would love to take you places and show you around our city if you wanted.
We have just finished renovating our main property, however there are always things to do general cleaning around the property, weeding, watering.
We love to travel so at times the property will need someone to water plants and take care of our 1 year old groodle.
We are happy to be flexible in which of the above work suits you, your skills and your interests. -

Unterkunft
Absolutly stunning cottage of two bedrooms, kitchen, dining, living, laundry, fully air conditioned, fire place, balcony it has it all! Nestled in the Australian bush. Main room has king bed and single bed.
Accomodation is a seperate dwelling from our home. Full aircon, full kitchen with full stocked pantry and laundry. A very well kept cottage.
Breakfast items, coffee, tea and pantry items will be supplied and we will share dinner meals when avaliable througout the week (2-3 meals per week). Any additional items will need to be puchased by work awayer.
Our main house where we reside is approx 200 metres away up a driveway. -

We are walking distance to public transport - about a 400 m walk to a local bus-stop and about 2.5 km to the springwood bus transit centre. And it may often be convenient to give you a lift to the bus stop or other places.
If you want to get out into the forest, then you're welcome to borrow a mountain-bike (or just walk). -
