I have collected supplies to create a greenhouse and have fingers crossed I will find the help I need!
i am an alley-picking, table-waiting(COVID furloughed) knitter with a big garden and un-resting creativity. i have a large yard, vegetable and herb. garden. i could use your help weeding ,sowing, harvesting, and preserving its yield through the months of May to August . I recently built a small farm stand in hopes of selling veggies to the neighborhood. I am inviting travelers with creativity, that already have the skills, and knowledge of construction and gardening to come hang and help for a short term in NW Denver.

Colorado is a popular state for vacations, and Denver, it’s capital is a short distance from my home. Music, museums, hikes and history are easily available. I would be happy I share some of the popular and my favorite choices with you.
I have hosted guests from Turkey, France, Italy and the US. I enjoy sharing stories of travel, foods and opening doors to each other’s culture.

The vaulted ceiling room has 2 twin beds in a large living space with an adjoining full bathroom. The room has a separate entrance accessible from the back yard where the vegetable garden, herb garden and chicken coop are located. Access to kitchen, dining and living room is available. I will typically provide 2 meals a day, a continental breakfast and 1 main meal in exchange for 5 hours of daily work.
i can accommodate 2-3 additional persons as there is a tipi and also a "tree house", thanks to Workaway Lazo and Zara , available for sleeping, and it now has steps, thanks to Workaway Eric.
The “casa de pino” and tipi are both in need of repair at this time.

My home is located in a NW Denver across from a park with tennis and basketball courts and open space for fun. We are 1 mile away from 3 different hip streets with restaurants, shops, galleries and bars and its only a 15 minute bus ride to downtown Denver from bus stops just 2 blocks away. Rocky Mountain views a daily bonus.

It was two really good weeks. I felt welcomed immediately by Joanne, her son and their puppy.
The tasks in the garden were easy and relax.
I really like the house and the garden. Denver is a nice city, you can bike downtown in only 20min from the house.
I had a great time.

they were a pleasure to host. both were hard working and up for any task.
they created cold frames and mason bee and bug hotels, cleaned up my yard and enjoyed their time in colorado. i hope to see them in france someday on their own farm.
