    Description

IMPORTANT: Volunteer assignments with me are always for a very short period, usually 5 days; max 14 days. If you are looking for a longer assignment, please do not contact me.

We are a non profit group that organizes group travels for a very mixed, international audience. The trips evolve around a central theme (eg. mountains, winter sports or arts). Usually we are at some remote location high in the mountains. It's all about the group and enjoy the group dynamics. As a workawayer you will basically simply be part of the group and enjoying all activities; there is no division between 'staff', 'volunteers', 'participants'; we're all together.

Apart from enjoying the outdoor activities, participants tend to discover all kinds of things about themselves. It's always an unforgettable experience. Group size is usually between 8 and 16 people.

Our participants mainly come from all over Europe but we have had participants from all continents with the exception of Antarctica. Ages ranging from under 20 to over 50.
If you volunteer with us, you should feel comfortable in very mixed environments with diverse nationalities and diverse sexual orientations.

You will be part of a mixed international group (usually people from different countries and even continents sign up, ages ranging from 20 till in their 60s). You will learn about group dynamics and connection. But mainly, because you will be participating in the trip just like the 'normal' participants, you will have an amazing fun time.

⛰️ Looking for a week (or two) where your love for people, presence, and wild places can weave together?
I’m looking for volunteers for two upcoming off-grid gatherings:
✨ Mountain Balance: Eastern Switzerland, 7-13 July 2025

A week of mountain hikes, barefoot yoga, shared meals, laughter, soft landings — in a simple hut high on a lonely mountain.
✨ Permission Lab: Central Switzerland, 20-26 July 2025

A deeper dive: exploring consent, embodiment, conscious kink-inspired practices, and radical honesty — cradled in a valley with no tourists.

1️⃣ First role, for one or both events: a Mistress of Ceremony (MC) 🪔

    🪔 What being MC means
You’re someone who feels at home holding space in a playful, grounded, quietly powerful way.
Your role is to help the group move with rhythm: prepare opening circles, bring people together for activities, and check who will be joining the morning yoga. (And — only at the Lab — tend the sauna fire 🔥.)
You'll support the facilitator (Klaas — see feedback below), not direct the orchestra. A few clear words here, a gentle nudge there — just enough to let the group breathe and blossom.

You’ll fully participate in the gathering, just like everyone else.
There’s no "staff versus participants" vibe — just one living, breathing group.
(Some participants might not even realise you’re a volunteer.)
If you’re imagining a side-gig where you do a few tasks and then drift off to your own corner — please reset that vision. These weeks are immersive: full-bodied, full-hearted — where you might find yourself laughing through tears, or discovering joy you didn’t know you had in you.

It only works if you're ready to weave yourself into the magic.

You can apply for one or both gatherings.
You don’t need to be perfect.
You do need to bring your heart.
If this feels like your kind of wildness, let’s talk. 🪔

2️⃣ Second role, for the Permission Lab: a Yoga facilitator 🧘🏾‍♀️

It's not a yoga gathering; we're not collecting asanas. Yoga — simple, grounding, embodied — is part of how we get ourselves back into our body and out of our mind. Can you offer yoga sessions that support this field?

No performative acrobatics. No pressure. Think: breath, grounding, embodiment, soft awakening.
Think: offering choice, celebrating autonomy, creating space for all kinds of bodies and nervous systems.

    🧘🏾‍♀️ What you’ll actually do:
Prepare and hold daily or almost-daily yoga sessions (30–60 min, depending on the day’s flow and energy).
Sense into the needs of the group: a grounding practice after an emotional evening, an energising flow after a long hike, a stretch after time in the sauna.
You'll participate in the Permission Lab like any other human there. There’s no “staff vs participant” vibe. You’re not “separate” — you're a breathing part of the tribe.
This Lab is very immersive. If you imagine doing your session and then disappearing, this isn’t your thing.
If you imagine arriving real, living alongside, sharing the mess and the magic — you might be exactly what we’re looking for.

You don’t need to be a certified yoga instructor — but experience guiding people in body-based practice, and a soft, trauma-aware approach are important.

If this resonates, let’s talk. 🧘🏾‍♀️

WE DO NOT NEED VOLUNTEERS FOR OTHER PERIODS.

--- If you write, please explain clearly why you are the right person for the position! ---

THERE IS THIS OPTION AS WELL:
We're also looking for volunteers that can help with a number of online tasks cq. tasks that can be done in your community. These can be done wherever you are. Regrettably we can not offer accommodation etc. _while you are doing the online tasks_ but we can offer you to participate for free in one or two of our adventure trips in Switzerland afterwards. These trips are 5 to 7 days long and include inspiration, accommodation in the mountain hut where the event is taking place (dorm rooms), full board and often meditations, yoga sessions, workshops... There are usually at least two in summer and two in winter to choose from.
We're looking for people with skills and experience in this:
    - online marketing
    - event organisation
    - community building
