Raphael stayed with us for a short time. He’s a great guy. Highly motivated, energetic with an excellent command of English, he’s up for anything & takes on all jobs with a lot of enthusiasm. He’s also a really nice person with an open attitude to life. We’d happily welcome Raphael back anytime!
I had an amazing time in Nat & Matt's place ! They are very nice people who live in a relaxing place where you can enjoy a gorgeous panorama from the garden : green hills on the foreground, the Alps on the background. I could take a bike on the afternoon after helping in the garden on the morning, it was very pleasant to explore the whereabouts.
… read more Also Nat always cooked something nice and took us to nearby rivers and to the lake to have a swim, we had a lot of fun and could look at the mountains while swimming. It was exactly the kind of place that I was looking for, I would gladly come again !

… read more review because I was afraid that I will not do justice in how amazing Natalie and Matt are. Natalie is so compassionate about everything in life, she is an incredible chef (I already miss her delicious dishes), she will always show you how to do a task with a smile in her face, she has so much experience in life and so much to learn from her. Matt is so fun to be with, chilled and very intelligent. he is very mature for his age and I enjoyed my time with him. I highly recommend for everyone to have their workaway experience there and you will get the pleasure to meet Billie the most amazing dog in the world!!!

Daisuke is a really nice guy! Ever helpful, polite & up for doing anything. He especially liked the pets here and it was lovely watching him play with them. A super genuine guy with a gentleness about him that made him really approachable & easy to be with. See you soon Buddy!

We all did a day trip up Titlis and that was fantastic. Very social time as well because there's lots of other people too. Nat & Matt are very social and made us feel welcome & included in all of their activities.

Also Natt was very kind to allow everyone to catch a ride with her when she was going anywhere and so save on transport.
Their farmhouse is located in a beautiful spot on the hills outside of Zurich and by your footstep there is magnificent views.
Just down the road you can get 1L of milk straight from the cows for 1 euro! There is horses around and falcons flying here and there... very calm and peaceful.
Also made really good friends with other workawayers staying and there was really good vibes all around.
I am grateful to stay with Natt and Matt and hope to see them again soon :)

… read more generous and energetic for everything, not only working. They brought us to nearby lakes and pools, and we did dive into the water!! There are lots of beautiful places in Switzerland, but they will give you a tip for sightseeing as they have many knowledge for it.
From my experience, food is so important during Workaway to stay healthy. Otherwise, you will feel uncomfortable about it. Here is a great chef Natalie, who provides a healthy variety of cuisines, in addition, they have a nice stove for BBQ.

… read more great! There are lots of things to do in this old house like cleaning, gardening and renovations.
In the morning you can take a short walk down to get fresh refined milk at the neighbours while taking in the amazing view of fields, cows and the Alps if its a clear day.
I did a few full day trips where I was gone for the whole day, and Natalie is very kind and will allow you to work more hours one day if you for example wants another day off to explore some more of Switzerland. But generally I stayed mostly at the house and when the weather is good we would wake up early to get the work done and go to the lake or pool together with Natalie and Matthias to swim or jump off the platforms. If you like movie nights you are in luck, since they have the cutest barn with a big screen where we sometimes would watch movies together.
Billy the dog is the cutest and very well behaved dog 🐕 he is going to be missed!
