A farm has been collectively created in East Crete, and we (Ari 2 years old, Alexi and Serena) currently live on the farm on and off during the summer months. Our food is grown organically from heirloom seeds. About 200 trees have been planted this year among herbs.
We hope to plant seeds in the mind of whomever visits - that true wealth and richness comes from within and not from material things.
Currently there is a caravan on the farm and spaces for tents. The days go joyfully by, by participating in activities such tending to the plants and garden, cooking, crafting and discovering one's true Self.

People visiting will live in a natural environment and will be reminded that life is much more simple that we make it. Not so much a learning process here, but a reminder of how to simply be and appreciate everything.
Helping in the garden, watering, keeping the place clean and organised and whatever help may be needed in the moment!

Currently on the farm there is no accommodation for the winter months.

From late April until about October there are two main tent areas and a caravan. There is a shaded outdoor lounge area, a clean kitchen and toilet and an outdoor shower. There is also a shed where we keep all the tools. The shower currently has no hot water but it is very warm during the summer months. There is no WiFi (nearest 1 hour away by foot / car 5 minutes). There are many mosquitos at night. From June - August it gets very hot during the afternoon hours so productive hours are in the morning (8-10) and in the evening (6-8). We always have food ingredients which we prepare in the kitchen.
The farm is in an isolated location - 1 hour by foot away from the village & bus stop and there is a cantine on the beach which is 5 minutes away.
In the area there is an ancient olive tree which is around 3.500 years old - the oldest olive tree on the island. There are also many archaeological sites around. There are daily boat trips from the beach to the island of Psira which is opposite the farm and has Minoan ruins. There is a secluded beach a 5 minute walk away from the farm. Evening walks in the village are a delight, and there are many nature trails which are old 'donkey paths'.
From the village, which is a 20 minute bike ride, there are buses that go by many times a day.
Please note that the farm is located in a very peaceful, quite area as it is away from the village and human activity.
