Staying with Toni has been the best thing ever!!
I stayed with him in, working between the garden, the house and on adventures in kayaks and rock climbing shoes for over 2 months.

Toni is one of the friendliest and most outgoing people I know, he has a deep care and compassion for others and we spent our time talking about all sorts of things... between long paddles to explore caves and beaches. His home is lovely and the country home where I did most of my work was awesome. Toni really listens to informed input around the garden and there is the ability to help in a lot of ways that depend on what you are good at.
If you are active and sporty this is a great place to stay as Toni is always up for a walk, run, swim, paddle or the occasional spot of light climbing.

What makes Rhys stand out even more is his ability to connect with people. He has effortlessly socialized with individuals of all ages, engaging in meaningful conversations and creating strong bonds. His genuine curiosity about the local culture was evident in his eagerness to learn about traditions, cuisine, and different aspects of island life. He embraced every opportunity to immerse himself in the culture, making his stay not just about work but also about experiencing and understanding the place and its people.
His energy and enthusiasm are truly inspiring. Being very fit, he is always up for a workout, whether it's running or kayaking in the ocean. His active lifestyle and positive attitude have been contagious, bringing great energy into our home.
We definitely miss Rhys, and from the numerous Workawayers we have hosted, we can confidently say he is one of the best. Not only is he hardworking and reliable, but he is also a genuinely kind and thoughtful person. I got to stay with Toni this past July for a week and had a wonderful time! He was able to accommodate me last minute and communication was great. The work was very modest and I got my own room/flat. … read more nicest guys I've ever met. We went to the beach, went on morning runs, and went kayaking. He also showed me more of Mallorca one of the days and we did a little roadtrip. Toni was very considerate with food and I was able to eat what I wanted to eat. Along with the home in Portocolom, he has a nice country house in Felantix where we went and planted some trees and watered the crops. Portocolom is a quaint, quiet town; great to get away from it all and relax in the sun. It's a trek from Palma so if you are looking for the party scene or whatever it might not be for you. Cody was also very interested in learning about our culture and exploring places around the island. Even though there was sometimes a language barrier, he’s a great person and very social, making it easy for everyone to connect with him. In this short time, he’s been a coach not just for me, but also for my friends and family who joined in activities like kayaking and running. His experience as a personal trainer has been invaluable. I’d definitely host him again if he offered to help. A week just wasn't enough!

He showed me around the island, took me kayaking, hiking, snorkeling, we went on the boat, and he brought me along to some wonderful social experiences such a dinners with friends and a concert. He also participated in the local village festivals, fully immersing himself in the local atmosphere. Lachlan is a fantastic cook, teaching me Australian dishes while eagerly sampling local Majorcan food and products. He enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, and swimming, which were exactly the kinds of things I mentioned in my profile.

The work consisted mostly of painting, tutoring his nephews in English, and helping with the garden. The garden is at his country house and is very tranquil and quaint. Portocolom is also a very beautiful little port town with a great water lifestyle. When we weren't working we were kayaking, swimming, relaxing in the country house, or taking the boat out for a stroll.
