  Hi there, welcome
  
  We are a retired couple, who left Paris 18 years ago to start a new life in the south of France. We renovated an abandoned vineyard house and created the big and beautiful paradise. We welcome you to join us keeping her in good shape, and in return enjoy all the pleasures of living here, with the company of French people, the sunny weather and the breathtaking nature. Imagine having lunch and dinner in front of the Pyrenees, drinking wine and eating french cheese before taking a dive into the pool, or borrowing our car or bike to visit the area (La Cité in Carcassonne). Our place is an opportunity we want to give you, a place where we together create memories and get busy living. We are retired, but we are not ready to sit down and stop moving. Come and join the ride.
  
  Nous sommes un couple de retraités, qui a quitté Paris pendant 18 ans pour commencer une nouvelle vie dans le sud de la France. Nous avons rénové une maison de vignerons pour ouvrir une maison d'hôtes de charme. Nous vous suggérons de la partager et de nous aider à la maintenir. En retour, vous pouvez vivre avec une famille française, profiter du soleil du sud et de la nature occitane. Imaginez déjeuner ou dîner avec vue sur les Pyrénées; boire le vin local et manger le fromage français, avant de vous baigner dans la piscine, ou emprunter la voiture ou le vélo pour visiter la région. Partager la vie avec nous est l'occasion de créer de bons souvenirs et de découvrir la culture française. Nous sommes à la retraite, mais toujours actifs.

  You will learn french if interested. We are patient teachers and we are ready to help you. My husband does not speak english, which gives you a perfect opportunity to use the language as a handy tool to communicate, and not just a nice intellectual ability. Other than that, the culture, the historical region, the hundreds of interesting trekking tracks around here, all with historical and natural significance and beauty, are things you can learn from.
  You can learn everything from building with wood, to make french food, all you have to do is dare to ask, and dare to try. You will have a lot of autonomy here, and the experience here is only as good as you make it.
  
  Nous vous proposons le gîte et le couvert dans cet écrin de verdure. Vous pourrez approfondir votre niveau de langue française, découvrir les activités du sud de la France, la ville pleine d'histoire de Carcassonne, ainsi que sa Cité médiévale.
  Nous vous prêtons notre voiture électrique et nos vélos pour découvrir la région. Vous pourrez apprendre aussi bien la cuisine française que le travail du bois ou toutes sortes de bricolage. Vous aurez une grande autonomie pour organiser votre journée.

  Arbeit

  A couple of daily tasks will be asked like gardening, cleaning, tinkering, cooking, shopping. Daily helping time is 3h or 4h.
  Martine, our local housekeeper, takes care of the bnb with me.
  Since I am sometimes away, it is necessary to have a driver's license.
  
  Il y a des tâches journalières, de type jardinage, bricolage, ménage, entretien, cuisine, courses.
  Martine ma voisine est responsable de la partie maison d'hôtes avec moi.
  M'absentant occasionnellement, le permis de conduire est exigé car mon mari ne conduit plus.
  Le temps de travail est de 3h ou 4h par jour contre logement et intendance et vie de famille.

  Unterkunft

  The house is extremely big. Half of it is for us and half is for guests. You will have your own bedroom (with a study), bathroom, TV room, as well as a 45m2 roof balcony, shared between the guests.
  
  La maison est extrêmement grande. La moitié est pour nous et l'autre moitié pour nos hôtes. Vous pourrez en profiter dans sa totalité. Vous aurez votre propre chambre, salle de bains et salon TV à l'étage, ainsi qu'une vaste terrasse non privative d'environ 45m2.

  We are located about 10 min drive from Carcassonne (4th most visited place in France). There are numerous cultural visits in the area as well as hikes. A car is available for you to sightsee.
  The house has a big garden and swimming pool, as well as a pool table, table tennis and volley ball/badminton nets. There is a bakery and a coffe-restaurant in the village. We have a grand piano and lots of books.
  
  Nous sommes à 10 min en voiture de Carcassonne, 4 ème site touristique le plus visité de France. Il a de nombreuses visites culturelles à faire dans la région (domaines viticoles, musées, châteaux, grottes...) et randonnées dans la Montagne Noire au nord de Moussoulens. Je mets à disposition une voiture pour vos déplacements.
  La maison possède un parc arboré et une piscine, ainsi qu'une salle détente avec baby-foot et billard, ainsi qu'une table de tennis de table et filet de volley / badminton en extérieur. Dans le village il y a une boulangerie et un café-restaurant. Nous avons un piano à queue,et des livres en français et en anglais.
