    Availability 2024:
We are open for visitors in our work week from June 30 to July 6. If you are interested, please contact us :-)

We live on a small farm perched in the hilly landscape in the northwestern part of Zealand – between the embankment of Lammefjorden and the nearby coast of Sejerøbugten. We have 3,5 hectares of land, allowing for an orchard of 80 apple trees also populated by chickens, good soil for growing vegetables, a flock of Gotland sheep, solar panels, and a windmill.

But first and foremost we are a commune, founded in 1984 and based on three notions of community: We live together. We take responsibility for our farm together. And together we strive and dream to make the world a better place.

It is situated approx. 80 km west of Copenhagen and is currently home to 6 adults and 5 kids. We are all employed outside the farm but spend time together to move the planet in a greener and kinder direction – in the microcosm of the farm itself, in our local community and by forming friendships through cultural exchange projects involving youth from different continents.

During the week of working you can join helping our garding using no-dig and biodynamic methods in the growing of crops - and this is high-season for weeding. The appletrees in our orchard could do with some pruning. The chicken and sheep need clean accomodations. We are usually also working on the latest optimization of our energy supply and we can teach you quite a lot about animal husbandry, while mending the fences.

    Accommodation

We offer basic, indoor accommodation with shared facilities. Our wooden shelter has a view and is a nice place to camp in warm weather. We will be happy to lend you a bike, so that you can explore the surrounding landscape.

We eat organic - and well. The diet is mostly vegetarian - and in summer harvested just outside. Sometimes we eat happy lamb meat from our own livestock, and somtimes we eat vegan. We usually take turns doing the cooking.
