  • More details about your skills

I’m not a professional craft person but I learned and skilled for wider range. So I know how to. At school, I learned weaving, doing embroidery, knitting, sewing, as main classes and I did so many other things (plate-dying, mending, machine-knitting, etc) as well. Moreover, I was doing pottery when I was in university for 4 years aside.

It’s my habit keeping my house clean so I mostly vacuum once a week. I worked as housekeeper at hotel and home-cleaning company for about a half year back in my country.

I have gardening experience sine I was a little kid at my grandpa’s garden where he was mainly growing vegetables. I help him planting, watering, weeding, mowing.

I worked at cafe for a year. I took a role of everything such as a waitress, cooking, making coffee also cafe-late, and so on. I like cooking as I always stand in my kitchen with my grandma and my mother when they cook. I’ve started to try collecting their recipe so I could inherit them.

I have a dog (Miniature Dachshund) is about 14 years old now and I had a rabbit (Holland Lop) when I was a little kid.

But also, I love to learn new things!

  • What else ...

I went studying abroad in Boston, USA when I was a high school student for 10 months. Otherwise I live in Kyoto for most of my life.
I did swimming for 11 years, playing tennis for 2 years, volleyball for three years, handball for 2 years. So I’m very active.
I’ve been taking lecture for tea ceremony (Sado in Japanese) in my free time.

I'm educated in university, back then I studied in geography mainly about Japanese crafts. I took classes getting lectures from artisans and visiting them to know, experience their crafting process.
I made a final essay about woven textile with natural fiber from wisteria branches known for an ancient technique (Fuji-ori). During researching, I visit where it presents and interacting with people preserving it.

And I’m also interested in North-European culture, Design and crafts. Then I decided to come here, Denmark to know more about them. And I feel it’s the best way interacting, talking face to face with people who lives there.
