Description
We moved to St Michel in Gers Dec 2020, the house we bought had been empty for over 4 years , the fields and woodland is very overgrown, we moved here for lots of land for our horses which we breed and a quiet rural way life you will need to know how to use a brush cutter and a chain saw to make a success of your time with us. First availability February 2024. We would prefer couples as we can leave you to your work and we can get on with the running of the business.

We have 16 hectares of woodland which is very overgrown we are looking for help to coppice the woodland to make tracks so people can walk through, ride their bikes and ride horses, we have a tractor, digger, and other tools

We are from the U.K. so fluent in English, we have been in France since Dec 2020 and are learning the language so anyone fluent in French but wanting to learn English would be great
Accommodation
We have a self contained 1 bedroom gite guests have their own bathroom, kitchen and garden
Workaways will have their own kitchen and a BBQ if they want to have some time to themselves or they will be welcome to join us for a meal in an evening, we have chickens and an orchard so free eggs and fruit always available
We will provide food and drink in the gite for workers will also provide lunch and will offer workers to join us for an evening meal
