While in the host country, one typically has the chance to thoroughly experience the culture of their host country. This occurs through direct application as a result of living with a family native to the region, going to learn as well as teaching with true residents (children) of the country, and through various other means. This finds themselves completely immersed within a different culture once they have arrived in their host countries, due to differences in the cuisine, architecture, familial tradition, and even the ways in which people carry out conversation! After having spent a significant amount of time within the host country.

This excellent learning opportunity of culture, visiting circumcision sites, to different types and tribal dances, Languages, and typically leaves Volunteers with better understanding for people of all sorts.

In addition to learning of the culture of the host country, many exchange volunteers become familiar with the ways of life of people all around the world through meeting other exchange volunteers. This is guaranteed to be amusing, and very interesting!

Meet new friends from all around the world: By being a volunteer, you will meet friends from all around the world. Your program will have meetings and trips for you where you get to meet other volunteers. It is so much fun when they get together because you have so much in common.

They will also meet tons of native friends in your host country that you will have a close relationship with for the rest of your life.

Children will be very much exited to meet Volunteers, have fun, and other children will have to touch and feel whether the white skin is the same like there's or its different.

Our culture is quite different and there are some things that we have to put into consideration, and we fill this has to be respected as we stay with families who are not familiar with drinking alcohol, smoking and drugs. Smoking cigarettes in public not allow in Uganda. Ladies should avoid wearing clothes that are transparent.

We have a community which is so much welcoming, I don't think whether any Volunteer will leave without not being citified and happy. Volunteers from USA, Canada and German, we have friends whom we can link you to and have some inquiries.
