Jamie and Morag run a hill farm, with black face and some Cheviot sheep too.
We also have two bedrooms in the house in which we do B and B from May to September.
We are in our 50's and 60's, have three children, aged 32,31 and 25 who have all left home.
We run the farm on our own, but appreciate some help from time to time. We are well travelled, we are good cooks , have a good sense of humour and we hope we have a good relaxed atmosphere here. Our Workaways are part of the family and get involved in whatever we are doing, this includes social activities aswell....going on picnics, or walking up a mountain with Jamie.
We are six miles south of Oban and our farm overlooks a sea loch. It is very scenic, and a great place to go exploring the Highlands and Islands . We have a spare bedroom for the Workaways, with fabulous view over the sea loch and they have their own bathroom ( but sometimes shared with friends staying ).

Help in the house
We are well travelled ourselves and enjoy learning about other people's cultures. Morag speaks a little Spanish and French. You will have a good experience in a family home that has a warm and friendly atmosphere. Home from home. Jamie is a keen hill walker, and anyone is welcome to join him on his epic walks ! We also have a small motor boat and often go out mackerel fishing in good weather.
We are looking for help with working the sheep...gathering, dosing, lambing, sheep shearing etc. and help in the house..
French and Spanish....a little!
Double bedroom with bathroom.
Time off can be spent exploring islands from Oban, going to see wildlife ...sea eagles, seals, dolphins and puffins. Hillwalking. There is a lot of history around here with plenty of castles to see as well.
