  • Description

Our Music Foundation in Africa, Uganda is a registered organization committed to raising industry standards and placing the unprofessional and professional musicians in the foreground of the cultural landscape. We are music professionals, based in Uganda, Mbale stimulated by concerns that the country’s music industry has few professional standards and lacks support structures and legal resources. This results in artists being exploited by opportunists who undermine the creative and production efforts of serious professionals. The problems affect all areas of the industry creating an environment of mistrust which impacts negatively on all services and general desirability.

As music professionals we have been working since 2014 to create a collective body of music fellows to join forces, share resources and cooperate in an effort to promote a fairer industry. Our key objectives are to encourage fair play and offer a level of professional standards that encourage both young up coming artist and satisfied the audience through; Composing, writing, singing and production of music.
